I work remotely and have placed numerous delivery orders from this Panera location. All of which have had issues, which is why I am finally writing a review. I will use my last two orders as examples. I usually order a "bowl" of soup and a "whole" salad. In my second to last order, both containers were barely half full. The bag was sealed, so I find it unlikely that it would have been the delivery driver. If I wanted a cup of soup and half a salad, I would have ordered it that way and saved some money. In addition, they have typically forgotten the croutons that are supposed to come with the soup, even with a "special note" to ask them to please not forget the croutons. I called the store and "Victor" put me on hold and no one ever came back. So, I reached out to the Panera Instagram account and they were very responsive and kind. I would not have ordered again, but the Panera Instagram people added rewards to my Panera account, so I gave it another shot today. This time, the soup and salad containers were full and they included the croutons. However, they didn't include the baguettes. I was supposed to get two. I sent another message to the Panera Instagram account and they told me that they were sorry and they hope we give them another chance. No rewards or compensation this time. Do yourself a favor and, if you must order from Panera, use a different...
Read moreWent in last night and ordered a broccoli cheddar soup to go… little did I know that it would take 45 minutes just to get my soup..SOUP. I understand working in fast food is stressful, trust me, I’ve been there. But making your customers wait as long as a dine in restaurant is bizzar. There were even other people getting annoyed with waiting so long, that some even had to take theirs to go or some even didn’t want to bother waiting anymore and got a refund…. There were orders that were missing when people came to pick up their orders and were skipped.. there were people getting food before others who were before them… I was trying to be as patient as I could, and I was… but I started noticing that the cashier lady was cutting customers off when they were ordering, and she was just a hot mess running around in general. I could also hear, I assume, a manager getting aggravated at her employees cause they weren’t doing something a right way, or not helping.. I could just feel the stressful energy in there. I understand they may have been short staff, not sure, but I think they just need to do a bit better at organization. I’ll give 2 stars just because, yes the soup was good, but not worth waiting 45...
Read moreEverytime, I go into this place! I am surrounded by reverse smiles and a very un-welcoming group of staff! It's appears that everyone is so unhappy. Even when you look them dead in the eyes and say hello, they just stare at you like your speaking a foreign language and say nothing! It's a lil creepy actually! One of the employees actually says nothing but the total and nothing else at all, no questions, no suggestions, no upsell! Just stares at you until you say that'll be all. "They" look somewhat like a man and woman at the sametime, so "they" get the reward for "being utterly so plain and dry" and the establishment gets the reward for "zombanera dead" for the staffs utter appearance of looking and appearing like the living dead. We got more response from the distracted drivers in cars passing on University than from a single undead employee at this place. I suggest going hear if you want the feeling of eating at a graveyard. My suggested new name is "Dead Bread uneatery at University! Where your bread has more life...
