I have come to this store for many years and always been satisfied. However my most recent experience will be my last with them. The bacon chicken artichoke pizza seemed way heavier than normal, but I didn't think much of it at the time and they were going to be closing in 5 minutes. I backed the pizza as usually do, and when I started cutting it it was kind of soupy and even those i backed the crust off the tray the last 5 minutes the crust hadn't gotten really crispy like it usually does. I cut a couple of slices and we sat down at the table. First bite, what the heck! my sister and I looked at each other and spit it out. Something was grossly wrong. Wrapped up what hadn't been cut to bring it back. I called the store manager Jordan today, to let them know I would be coming for a replacement, and was told that they can't do anything about it. I said we didn't eat it and I have the rest of the pizza minus the two slices and I would be bringing that back with me. He asked me what the problem was and I told him that it didn't taste like it should and we spit it our. He asked if it was made correctly. I said I assumed not since I order this pizza all the time and this wasn't edible. He told me that they are all made the same and there is nothing he could do, and then proceeded to argue with me about it. I don't know what was different, but it certainly wasn't what I ordered. Apparently, customer satisfaction isn't a high priority with this store. It's totally turned me off on Papa Murphy's which has been my go to pizzeria for years. Not...
Read moreI have been a faithful patron of Papa Murphy's for at least 20 years. Unfortunately I have seen location after location close. In the last few years I've seen 4 location close close to home or work. I ordered from this location for a 7:50 pick up. They close at 8 and I got stuck in construction traffic on Lincoln and arrived at 8:02. Doors were locked, no one in site and the carryout rack was empty. It was a FRIDAY evening so I thought I would be okay since the order was paid for and I was only two minutes late. I can't imagine the staff was so slow on a Friday that they had completed all of their closing duties by 8. Frustrated I tried to see if I could find any contact info online. After a few minutes some guy comes out front. We made eye contact and he decided to unlock the door and ask my what was up. I told him I was 2 min late for a pickup and he replied, "yeah we throw everything away at 8:00". I said something to the effect of "whatever, that's pretty messed up" and that I would try to get a refund or something online. His response was "that's cool". No, it's not "cool" you lazy punk. Sorry to keep you from your video games. I really hope I don't...
Read moreUpdate 1/9/24: disappointed by this location once again. They are making a store decision to charge over $20 for their medium size gluten free pizza - on Tuesday nights when a large gluten crust is $11. As a small business owner myself, I totally understand the gluten free requires more expensive ingredients. So how about a compromise? Instead of $11 charge $15. Both other locations nearby (and even nationally - in AZ - charge the standard $11 for the GF). This decision will ensure I, and other GF diners, will choose other locations. Closed for Halloween due to staffing shortage? Could you at least customize your voicemail message to indicate by this? I (and others) drove to the store since the phone just rang and rang. And more, the sign in the door directed customers to the store on University … and then THAT store’s phone rang and rang too. It’s far too coincidental that both stores were short on staffing. Sounds like employees wanted a night off. Unprofessional, especially on their busiest night for...
