After months of not going to Tokyo Joe's after having a series of negative experiences at the cornerstar location, I mistakenly decided to give them another chance, hoping the new location had better food and service, and was once again dissapointed. First off, as soon as I approached the counter, I was asked if I wanted some kind of BBQ chicken bowl that was apparently on special. The cashier was literally pushy about something I clearly didn't want, ask for, or even mention and it made the experience incredibly awkward. Second, when placing my order I asked the cashier to replace the rice for broccoli with the poke bowl. I've been able to do this in the past multiple times with no issues. Instead, they told me it could not be done, and gave me disgusting, wilted lettuce instead. The next issue was with a simple chicken, udon noodle, pineapple and broccoli bowl. The first thing I noticed was I got (literally) two small pieces of pineapple which I paid extra for. The second thing, was that the noodles were bland, tasteless, and looked discolored. I also got an extremely small portion of chicken, but to top things off I got the stalks of broccoli in my bowl which is completely unacceptable. An image of this has been attached. All in all, Tokyo Joe's has re-lost my business. There service is a joke, and food is completely unacceptable. I would highly recommend steering clear of not only this location, but any other for that matter.

Review of Shoyu Ramen and Bento Box: (Shoyu Ramen) Neither the ramen noodles nor tiny amount of oddly dark broth had any flavor, but for some reason it did have corn and mushrooms mixed in? Additionally, its questionable chicken had no flavor. Couldn’t finish (Bento Box) The sushi had a bizarre texture, the spring roll wrapper was inedibly chewy, and the pot stickers were generic & uninspired. Couldn’t finish. To make matters worse, we placed our order to go order and then waited over 30 minutes [for the horrible food]. I’m not quite sure what there is to like about Tokyo Joes. Their food was arguably the worst Asian fusion we’ve ever had. Can’t recommend anything, will not be back

This place knocks it out of the park sometimes....but most the time something is always wrong. It's mostly correct when we occasionally eat in. 9 times out of 10 it's incorrect when we order out, which is what we mostly do. Tonight's take out that cost almost $40 + tip and no sauce on our bowls (we had the same order so it was relatively easy) and a side of chicken which was kind of wimpy. I love Tokyo Joe's. But the guarantee of fresh, correctly cooked and accurate orders is important too....and that hasn't been the guarantee lately. Definitely makes me think twice about returning.

Let me start this off by saying this is not a reflection on the people who work at this location at all. The people at this location are and have always been amazing, friendly, and service oriented.

I've been a very reguar customer at Tokyo Joes for well over 10 years, dining at different locations 2 to 3 times a week at a minimum. That has been reduced to at most once a week because the I've noticed a steady decline in the quality of the menu and the food over the last 6-7 months or so.

I've noticed this across ALL LOCATIONS so I know it's not a change in cooks or sushi chefs. It's like the accountants got ahold of the menu and cheapened the options by swapping suppliers and reducing protien content. This chain used to be my healthy go to option, but not so much anymore. It's starting to feel like a higher end McDonalds which is so depressing.

The pan seared potstickers now come put burnt every time. This was once one of my favorite menu items and whatever changed has ruined them. They are not nearly as flavorful as they were and the burn marks on the outside severely take away from whatever flavor was left.

In addition the pot stickers are noticeably smaller in size than what they once were. How disappointing for one of my favorite snacks! Same thing goes for the spring rolls, they are also noticeably smaller.

I often order poke bowls or sushi and the fish has recently (over the last 6 weeks) smelled somewhat fishy and I am wondering if it qualifies for sushi grade anymore. The fish for sushi used to be high quality however now I'm not convinced it is.

Poke bowls now come with less fish and rice bowls come with less chicken or steak. To fill the bowl up, more rice or greens mix is added. I feel like the protien content has been reduced alot in these options. Most likely to save cost which cheapens these options all the way around.

The edamame portion size is smaller for the sides as well. There is no difference in the taste of the edamame which I am thankful for.

The new menu items are also pretty disappointing. The new potsticker soup is way too salty which overpowers the flavor of the broth. The potstickers are not flavorful at all. The chili topping, when added, overpowers everything about this dish. Compared to General Joe's soup, this potsticker soup is complete crap. Bring back General Joe's.

The new peppercorn steak bowl is not good. The pepper in the sauce overpowers the flavor of the sauce. I like the creaminess of the sauce but the flavor is not good. I do like the asparagus, it's a nice addition.

Over the summer, seared tuna was introduced and was short lived. It was disgusting, thank you for getting rid of it.

The soy zing sauce was delightful, I'd love to see this come back. I also like the combo option on poke bowls.

The elimination of the poke option in the bento box is VERY disappointing. The bento box used to fill me up and now it leaves me hungry. It's not worth it anymore for the price of it.

I could keep going but I think you get the point.

Your customers should be your very first priority but that appears to no longer be the case with the...

BEWARE: I work at the same shopping center where this restaurant is located; I placed an order through Doordash. After having a long and busy day at work, my co-worker and l finally had time to eat lunch much later in the afternoon. I was on the app checking for updates and noticed that the driver was finally arriving. I then saw that my order had been marked as “delivered.” I never saw the driver…my food was never delivered. I contacted the delivery driver and they notified me that the food had been delivered to Tokyo Joes (next door) despite the delivery address/business name being specified in the instructions and despite it being a completely different business from where it was delivered. When l went to ask the employees at Tokyo Joes, it was evident that they had kept the food and continuously kept lying about it. It had been no more than a minute… I requested to speak to the manager (Kayla King) and she very quickly became defensive, hostile, and very disrespectful. She started yelling and treating me in a very belittling manner despite one of her employee’s claiming my food as theirs. She was very well aware of this. I have a photograph from Doordash to confirm that it was delivered here. The employees are very clearly in the frame. They all covered each other up (including the manager). This is the culprit. He came from the back from very clearly eating my food. He had the most telling/suspicious/guilty facial expression on his face. Watch out for these liars! I would appreciate the owner of this restaurant reaching out to me and educating their employees as they clearly lack mannerisms, professionalism, and integrity. Review the cameras from...

Food was good. Service lacked seriously. The person taking or order took off his hat and flipped/fixed his hair before putting his hat back on while my wife was in ther middle of giving her order. After she finished he looked at her blankly and replied "I didn't get any of that" so she had to repeat it. In the middle of telling him my order, he looked away to talk to another customer picking up a to-go order and then asked what toppings I wanted right after I told him everything I wanted. He seemed more concerned with anything other than us. Not a good person to give your customer a first impression with. It's actually hard to describe just how bad the customer service was.

The table we sat down at haff a sign that said it had been sanitized but it was clearly not as it still had areas that appeared to have dried up sauce. Thre bowl the my food was served in had sauce all over the outside of it that I didn't notice until after I stuck my hand in it to move my bowl. While we were eating, the same kid that took our order began "cleaning" other tables in the dining room. On the table next to ours he simply wiped all of the food from the table onto the floor and left it there. His concern for cleanliness was even less than his concern for proper professionalism/customer service.

Overall, if this had been my first visit to a Tokyo Joe's, it would have been my last. I truly regret not leaving before we even finishing ordering. At the very least, I will never go to this specific location in...
