La Estrella Bakery — Restaurant in Colton

I dont like posting stuff like this ... But if you have old people, children or sick ... please be leery ... Food poisoning can be deadly. on 12/26/2015 @ about 7:15 I stopped at La Estrella Panaderia to pick up some tamales ... was being lazy and didnt want to drive across town. I ordered a dozen pork. My grandson and I each tried to eat one ... but they just did not taste good... not that they tasted bad... just not good... and put the rest in the fridge while we went on with what we had to do .. within a couple hours my stomach started to feel nauseous .. and in the early even my intestines joined in the party ... I spent most of the night in the bathroom .. I took the rest bad the next morning about the same time and explained to the ladies how they did not taste good and made me ill .. after sticking their fingers in them and sniffing them... they ladies told me they smelled fine.. I explained obviously they are not, since I became ill and had not eaten anything else in over 18 hours prior... and why in the world would I buy a dozen to just eat two??? which she then proceeded to tell me that "people try to return stuff all the time for strange reasons" .... Wait... people try to return stuff all the time????? As all this was going on, one of the men (about 50) who worked there was cleaning a prep counter watching the conversation... he then sat the dirty rag on the table and walked to the front and without washing his hands, organizing a pan of the pastries... Obviously these people do not understand about cross contaminating ... which is probably what made me ill... it is a very common serious problem... Of course I didnt get my money back... but...

Me and my husband LOVE PAN. We had to stop eating it recently do to my husband having 3 strokes. It was scary. One of the things we changed for his health to improve was stop eating all this junk. One day we were driving up Valley Blvd, my husband says, hey they have one of those bread stores rite here. I said, NO it's more towards San Bernardino cause when he said that we were passing thru Bloomington. Anyways long story short. We stopped at the one in San Bernardino. Omg, this bread was fresh and warm when we got them. I love Conchita's. My husband got a little treat too. I asked the girl at the register, I said, do you have other stores in the same area. She said yes there is another one in Bloomington CA. I knew it. You can't forget the name of there store La Estrella bakery. The way it was written stuck in my head...😂🤣 Well it was fun while it lasted. I have to keep on top of our eating because we're getting older and we need to take care of our bodies so we can stay alive a little longer to watch our son and our grandkids get older, graduate highschool. Maybe see one of them go to college. And we would really love to see one of the kids get married. Only God knows our plans. Everyone stay safe. Worse place ever called them to know if they had a certain bread because they never have the bread till super late in the day or run out of it! After calling them they Left me on hold for 30 mins! I think they forgot so I hung up and called again Asked the same question and they said they would ask and to call back in 5 mins like huh!? This isn’t just the first time either I went in last week and I asked the front desk lady for an order of bread and when I came back at the time I said I would she said they sold them all and that they’d make more and if I wanna wait after making an order it’s like their joking! This place is a joke. I don’t even think they sold any and they just forgot! This place needs new workers DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME COMING HERE EARLY IN THE MORING! Or later in the day the bread we’ll...
