Pho Long — Restaurant in Colton

I walked in and this is a type of spot where you seat yourself. They brought me utensils and a menu within a couple mins. I waited about 10 mins for my order to be taken. I ordered the pho number 15 which is rare steak and tripe with no noodles medium size. I also ordered the salt and pepper shrimp on the side for an appetizer with the water. It was out within 10 minutes everything was steamy hot and fresh. The broth was very delicious. I'm not a big fan of shrimp being whole with the legs on. The flavor that they had on the shrimp was so good I literally just pulled the head off and ate everything but the tail with the shell on and it was so good I was surprised. It was like a sticky chili sweet salt and pepper flavor it was unique and I really loved it. I love stopping here when I'm in Colton. I always leave with a full warm belly!! The food here is great, and the service here is also great, except for the man who answered the phone the night of 11/7/2021. Not only was he rude, but unwilling to listen to his customer. I regularly order from here while at work, but tonight ordering from home, which is not in the same city as work, accidentally ordered from this location. When I called to explain my mistake and hopefully try to rectify it, I was met with a hostile attitude and being told I'm a bad person for the mistake that made. I was more than willing to drive to get the food, as the commute is less than 20 minutes, but after my experience with this gentleman, I will be taking my business elsewhere, apparently you have to be a perfect customer to get food here. The broth was so delicious but that was the best part. They said they hired new people in the back so they are still training. But my pho did not have beef tendons in it and the amount of meat on a dish was pretty thin for a large pho. I got the #4 without tripe. I Was just very disappointed in the amount of protein. The only time they came to my table was to take my order and drop off the things I ordered. They only give you two slices of jalapenos with the sides and it's an extra charge if you want extra sides.
