I'm here at least twice a week since they've opened and I'm here to say they have no bad food. They have some of, if not the best tacos in the IE, I bring my family food often and they are always telling more people about it or wanting to come back themselves. Their tripa, adobada, and chorizo especially are very delicious and probably the best I've ever had, perfect char flavor and seasoning is off the charts. Tortillas are soft but firm enough to not fall apart and they stuff the tacos with meat. The salsa bar is always clean and well stocked, I hate a taqueria that let's the salsa bar run low throughout the day or lets it get dirty and this place is always clean and full. Customer service is great too, the ladies who take your order are very polite and patient, and the cooks in the kitchen are funny and respectful. All around a great experience every time I go.
The only cons are the seating is a little limited so you may be better off taking your order to go when its very, very busy. Also I don't know where the miscommunication comes from but tonight was the third time I've been there and my order came out almost entirely wrong. I ordered 5 asada, and 5 adobada and received all asada. I even remember the cashier repeating my order back to me and this has happened in the past exactly the same way. I never keep my receipt to prove it so I just take the loss since all their food is great and I don't want anything to go to waste, but it is disappointing if you get all the way back home expecting a certain meat and then you're stuck with something you didn't order.
Despite the mistakes, I still give them 5 stars. For a new business they're doing awesome stuff but I do hope they read my review and correct that going forward. I really can't imagine them doing any better customer service-wise or as a business as a whole because they already do so great, its just that small issue. I would not let this deter me at all, I would just be sure to check my takeout box before I leave, if I'm taking my food to go and keep the receipt so there's no confusion. I could go everyday to this place and never get tired of their food, so if you're in the area do not miss out and come here, you'll regret not eating...
Read moreOn our first visit, we sampled a variety of tacos—carne asada, pastor, fish, and birria—and each was exceptional. The carne asada was tender and juicy, complemented by a perfect blend of spices and an al-carbon taste. The pastor had a rich, smoky taste, enhanced by sweet pineapple that balanced the savory flavors. The fish taco stood out with its crispy exterior and fresh toppings, providing a burst of flavor with each bite. Lastly, the birria was incredibly comforting, with its marinated meat soaking up the spices and served with a side of flavorful consomé for dipping.
The chiles packed a punch. The tortillas themselves were a highlight, soft and warm, and crafted well to hold all the delicious fillings without falling apart.
Plus, the prices are surprisingly reasonable, making it a must-try spot for...
Read moreWe finally gave it a try. We got tacos, burritos and quesadilla. The carne asada was a little chewy but was able to eat and tbh I think it needed a little more flavor but was not bad I’ve had worst and I’ve had better. The chicken burrito was very delicious the chicken was very good! I got agua fresca pineapple with mango and it wasn’t bad I thought it didn’t taste natural made. But the salsas were great I loved the flavor of all of them and were spicy but able to eat. The inside was very clean and was not busy at the time we got there. Service was ok. Ah and best part tortillas are fresh made. Other than that i recommend it and give your opinion but we...
