Went to this place on this past Saturday evening with our party of 4 as it was listed as having good reviews. We were very disappointed with the quality and service. We were seated fast and our water glasses were kept full by the hostess, but that was all. The Bistro was rather empty that evening with only a couple of folks at the bar and two women that were later seated next to us. Our waitress introduced herself and we needed a few more minutes to determine our order she did not return, but was seen throughout the Bistro. After too lengthy of a wait we had a new gentleman waiter. He took our order but did not seem familiar with the menu or at least the chirashi bowl. Our squid salad came out right away and was decent. For the Bistro lacking customers our order took much longer to bring out than it should have(and we realize that even with the two sushi chef present it takes time to craft the dish). During our wait we never had the waiter check on us or bring us the miso soup that comes with the chirashi bowls we had ordered. When I saw the waiter finally bringing us our chirashi, I had to request our miso soup that he seemed unaware of. After the long wait it was pure disappointment served in a bowl. We love chirashi, and have ordered it many places many times. This was a very sad chirashi bowl made by a chef that did not care about his customers or quality of work, or just simply lacked any experience. Only three fish varieties hacked(terrible knife skills and poor artistry) into three sad flowers were on the rice, with excessive 3/4 cup of seaweed salad dumped in the corner. If we had wanted a seaweed salad instead of chirashi we would have just ordered it. This is nothing like the traditional chirashi we have enjoyed many other places. Our friends ordered a traditional sushi plate that again was created by a chef that just did not care about his work or lacked experience. The fish cut poorly and was all different thicknesses and sizes. The rice was poorly shaped or rushed and was not very uniform. When finished, after waiting for plenty of time we had to get up and ask for our ticket, even though the employees could be seen in the rather empty bistro, and had eye shot of us. For all the good reviews....we were not given the same experience others have had, and we were left with terrible...

The food is over-priced and incredibly bland. I ordered a tempura appetizer that tasted like flour and grease - no seasoning whatsoever - and the "dipping sauce" they provided I'm pretty sure was just rice wine vinegar. The sushi I received was poorly prepared and did not have eel sauce on it, even though the menu said it came with it, and they were six tiny pieces of roll.
The prices are completely ridiculous, especially for the quality of food and drink. I paid $8 for a "Pacific Mai Tai," which I figured would have a good amount of liquid for the price and drink. Nope, it was served in a lowball glass. $8 for 4 ounces of alcohol, flavoring, and way too much ice.
The service was also absolutely deplorable. Our waitress had one other table besides us, and she still managed to make us wait 10-15 minutes before we could put in our initial orders, and then an additional 10+ minutes between receiving any sort of assistance in general. When I requested eel sauce, as my roll did not have any on it, she said, "Okay, there's definitely sauce on there" and then later threw a dish of sauce in front of me.
The terrible, unfriendly staff, bland food, and steep price tag for an experience that is incredibly disappointing is so not worth it. Save yourself quite a bit and take your...

I got to try the Fried Brussel sprout salad and the following sushi rolls: Lemon Drop, Rainbow, Mizzou, Tiger, and Dragon Roll.
The fried Brussel Sprout salad was a great way to start the meal. With the included lemon slices squeezed on top, this is a must try appetizer. The Lemon Drop sushi roll was also tasty. Think of it like a California roll but with added salmon and thin slice of lemon on top. Safe roll to have if you don't want something too flashy. Another safe roll is the Rainbow roll. Also let's you try different types of fish as well.
The Tiger roll was packed with flavor and had a kick to it. I was a bit worried it would be too spicy since it's topped with Wasabi aioli and Sriracha, but I was able to eat it comfortably with some water. (I'm not the best with spice). The Mizzou Roll was alright but not my favorite. I don't generally like rolls with spicy tuna. The Dragon roll was very tasty. I especially liked the cooked eel on top of the roll. Between all the rolls I had, I'd have to say it's a tie for me between the Dragon and Tiger roll.
The restaurant itself was very spacious, with beautiful artwork on the walls of sushi. Additionally, there was also some outdoor seating.
I'll be coming back here for sure to try out some of their...
