I ordered my son cupcakes for February 27th and also cupcakes and a cake for March 4th for his party I get there to pick up his cupcakes and they got his cake and cupcakes already made for the 4th on the 27th I asked them why they made it already and they stated well we get busy so we make them in advance...5 days in advance that’s crazy not to mention they ran out of football rings to go on the cupcakes so they left them plain they had my phone number not once did they call me to Inform me that they didn’t have the product I ordered and the cake they made in advance was supposed to have the Carolina Panthers logo on it the panther was purple!!! I asked them why the panther was purple and they explained that their printer was messed up and that’s the color it prints again they didn’t call me to inform me of this error I called the manager to the back to fix this issue because the associate said since the cake was already made that’s the cake I was going to get on the 4th not a fresh cake so the manager made a new order form and I explained to leave the cake plain and I would decorate it myself... so here I am at sams writing this review because I got here at 11pm to pick up the cake and they told me it wasn’t ready and won’t be ready til 1pm so I left and came back at 1pm only to find out the associate tells me my cake isn’t made she thought my name was Rosa or something of that nature my name is Letisha which I told her earlier I guess she figured I was Mexican so Rosa had to be my name!!! So now I’m standing her waiting on them to make my sons cake and cupcakes this is so unprofessional and they need to be more organized for them to completely forget a whole order that the manger wrote himself is ridiculous I will not be ordering from them again until they get a new staff or get organized. Below is the end results the plain cake is what I ended up getting from Sams I then went home to decorate it myself since Sams was unable to do that theme. I love Sams bakery but until they become more organized I can’t risk ordering from them again they dropped the ball twice in one week which is...
Read moreThe only reason I am giving this one star is because of the Pharmacy staff (Brittany and Leslie). If I could give them individual stars, they would both get 5++++++. If this review were based entirely on the remainder of the store, i would rate it a zero.
After having been a member of the club on Forest Drive for seven years, I can state, unequivocally, that Costco wins, hands down. The sam's club on Forest drive has suffered for many years from poor leadership and inferior customer service. My main problem was almost always the wait time to check out. When you spend $200 on groceries, you don't want to wait in line for over 30 minutes to check out, watching your frozen food thaw. I twice asked (different occasions)for extra cashiers, as the lines were outrageous, only to be met with indignation from the manager at the time (one of the situations), stating "What do you want me to do? Hire more people now?" During the exchange, I witnessed the manager giving an associate a break (while the lines continued to wrap around the store). I asked why this associate was being allowed a break with the line as long as it was. I challenged her on her negative response to me and the associate being given a break during a PEAK BUSINESS RUSH only to again be disrespected by her. This resulted in a call to the corporate office and contact with the main store manager. I was given a free plus membership for the remainder of my membership (5 months). I regretfully was a member of this store for several more years until costco came to town. Letting my sams club membership lapse was the best decision, as costco has far superior food, selection,...
Read moreBefore COVID, I would shop at Sam's every other month. Regardless, Myself and others have had a business membership for quite some time. We were completely ignorant of the fact that they no longer offer a business membership. My first mistake was thinking that I could shop at 7 AM...the greeter looks at me in a condescending manner and states,"we open at 8 AM, you may wait." So I went back to my car and waited. The same greeter, looked at my card, and should have realized that it was a business card and that they obviously didn't offer that membership...so she lets me in. I shopped. Shopping cart full of groceries. I get to self checkout and the cashier tells me that I can't finish my purchase because I am not a plus member. (If you know, they gave business memberships, in the past, that time frame to shop) So, she runs and tells her manager, as if I am abusing their system. I was forced to either: leave my cart, after all that waiting or upgrade my membership on site. I am more or so upset because...all of this could have been avoided had the greeter simply decline me right at the door...rather making smart remarks about me "finally being able to shop," now that it's 8AM. For the price that I am paying, I can go to costco or somewhere else. Effectively communicating the membership issue and politely declining me could have avoided the whole situation. The manager that assisted me was rude as well. "There's a big sign out front that states the times," well, with 20/20 vision I still didn't see it. Email your members when a change like that has occured. SImple...
