Used the drive through and was not greeted. Sat unattended at order screen for a good few minutes before we finally asked if anyone was there to take our order and we were then greeted with a "hold on." Haha not a hold on please, not I will be right with you, not I'm sorry... When we were finally able to order (with only two cars in front of us this entire time) I placed my order and I had to guess that my request for not including mayo, ketchup, and cheese was noted correctly along with my other two orders. None of which were recited back to me for order accuracy. After pulling up to the window, no greeting once again, I said thank you on a couple of different occasions and was never responded to by a couple of different employees. Again...taking alot more time to receive our order...in total we spent over 15 minutes in a fast food drive through with only two cars ahead and what appeared to be only one and maybe two customers dining in by the looks of the cars in the parking lot and seeing the dining room. The back of the house was very disorganized and dirty and the employees disappeared for a few minutes leaving nobody at the window or at the dine in pos area. It was like a ghost town. Oh and the first thing that was given right away was our drinks with no straws and because everyone vanished into thin air we left holding drinks with no straws...lol then finally given our food with no verbal response from the employee giving our food...not a thank you, not a come again, not have a great evening, not even a go away...I had to say thank you and have a great night to them and it was like a mumbled and forced response in return... It was almost like they did not like my kind around there eating or ordering from their establishment. I don't know but I felt really unwanted, uncomfortable and like an outcast. It was extremely odd to say the least. I kinda expect one and heck maybe even two employees having a bad day and did not like their jobs but dang...what appeared to be one male manager, one regular male employee and 2 regular female employees, all not liking their jobs and all whom acted as if they were def mutes with a monotoned expressed attitude and no sense of gratitude or grand purpose in life just boggles my mind. Needless to say this Wendy's will never receive another moment of my time or another dime from me. You couldn't pay me to go back and the crazy thing is that just down the street...I recently had a very similar experience at the flipping Sonic...go figure people...dang... Put a smile on your face, be thankful to God you have a job and for crying out loud thank the very people who keep supporting your...
Read moreIn brief: I've had a few bad (and several good) experiences at this location, but the real frustration for me has been the lack of action to fix mistakes. Customer service (and accountability) is apparently not their priority. After a recent experience where I paid for an order via app but wasn't given any of my food? I'm done rolling the dice by visiting this location.
Long version: This location is pretty notorious (read existing reviews to verify) for making mistakes with people's orders and then being defensive/dismissive when asked to correct them. Additionally, when it comes to customer service? They really tend to drop the ball...
Recently, I decided to try one of the breakfast specials they've been heavily promoting. Their app (as the screenshot I've posted verifies) lists them as opening at 6:30 AM. I arrived at about 7 AM, placed my order via their app, and drove up to the drive-through speaker: no one answered. After a couple minutes I drove up to the drive-through window, and an employee (who was already just standing there) opened the window and waved me off: saying they weren't open yet. I tried to explain that I'd already placed an order and paid (holding up my mobile phone) and that the app listed them as opening a half hour beforehand.
The employee shrugged and closed the window.
I called corporate later that day and they insisted they'd have the charges reversed (they did, though it took a couple days), but I never heard back from the restaurant... Kinda a clear sign of them not caring about the problem - leaving it to corporate to fix their mistake, but not owning it themselves.
Look - Wendy's is a great fast food place in general, but this location has a regrettable pattern of horrific service. I'd recommend visiting somewhere else nearby (McDonalds, Cook Out, Panda Express, & Sonic all have nearby locations and better odds of caring that you get the...
Read moreThis Wendy's, is the worst one I've been to in the Carolinas. My husband and I stopped here on our way back to NC from our Carnival cruise vacation on April 21, 2023 order #3023. We went to the drive thru and Marian began to take my husbands order while he was talking she cut him off and began holding a conversation with someone else. My husband asked excuse me were you talking to me? she rudely said NO! I was talking to a co-worker and asked him to repeat himself. My husband said well maam I didn't know that's why I asked you were you talking to me. Finally after giving the order we get to the window and Marian was still very rude so my husband said I didn't mean any harm, but if you had to briefly talk with your co-worker all you had to do was say, excuse me Sir, but would you hold on a second, this would have eliminated all confusion. So when I looked over at her she changed her tone, because I'm wondering what's up with the attitude, its too early for this. So after receiving our order my husband's sandwich was sooo hot, I kid you not, it almost burned my hand through the bag. I became very upset because I believe she did that on purpose to my husband she had to have put that sandwich in the microwave for at least two-three minutes, this is unacceptable, and its ridiculous. People with nasty attitudes like this do not need to be working...
