We (husband and I) visited this establishment on Friday, and I was happy because I had not been there for a while because I accomplished losing 63lbs in the last 9 mos. and was not frequenting fast food restaurants. It was quite apparent as we approached the counter to order that the young man behind the counter to take our order seemed to already be quite angry and disturbed about something...unrelated to us.
As he began taking the order and placing lettuce in my bowl, I asked for noodles. He gave me a half of a scoop, and I asked for more, he then picked up less than half of another scoop, and again, I asked for more, he then literally threw it in the bowl! Then he says abruptly, NEXT? As in what I would want next. I asked a question about purple rice, and he begrudgingly answered. He then says, angrily states.. "NEXT". I ordered carrots, black beans (which he spoon threw about seven blackbeans on the bowl), and I asked for more. He huffed and puffed and literally threw about 5 more into the bowl, the again...NEXT?!?! I then asked for broccoli, he literally threw two into the bowl, and I again said, more please, he smacks his lips, and I asked him why he was doing that. To my surprise...His reply, "You are asking for alot", to which I replied, I am paying a lot". But I had less than half of a bowl of food!
As my husband, personal trainer began to order, he treated him the same way. My husband is extremely fit, and not a large man at all, about 165lbs, so he, too, was not asking for a lot. But the server would only give less than half scoops for the few things he wanted, and the server smacked his lips and swung his neck when hubby asked for a little more, and again with the emphatic NEXT?!?! before he could even get to the location for the remaining items being offered. We each may have asked for five- six original items each in our bowl and then a protein, and this young man was treating us as though we were asking him to make a bowl where the lid wouldn't close or something. Even when I said "Sir, thank you", he took exception by smacking his lips, rolling his eyes, swinging his head, and sashaying his shoulders around ...all with that with mumbling something under his breath with an angry glare! Absolutely reprehensible employee service!
I have visited this establishment in the past and have even positively interacted with a manager (I believe Soo?) back in 2019 with great exchange, never saw this guy there during this time so he must be newer. They must be under new management, because the service was DEPLORABLE the previous manager would NEVER have tolerated that behavior.
I hate to disparage good establishments and rarely do I review, but this was so awful, I felt compelled to leave one. I know nothing will ever be done to this employee, even after my calling the restaurant when I got home and asking for the district manager. I was told I had reached corporate office after dialing the 614 phone number for the Gahana location, which I knew was not true.
It is so sad to see this type of service from an establishment that always provided us good service. I definitely won't...

I'm a very big fan of Bibibop. I've hardly eaten at any of the other fast casual places since Bibibop opened in Columbus, because I much prefer Bibibop over really any of the others. Sadly, though, I was disappointed by this location. And while I'm sure it's just the fact that it's new, and the staff are still learning, it still just wasn't the best experience.
When going through the line, both my wife and I hardly got any food. In specific, when adding kale to my bowl, the lady behind the counter gave me probably not much more than five leaves as if she was adding a pinch of salt, and it wasn't an accident. She initially had grabbed more, put it back, and grabbed a tiny amount. Similarly, when another lady added yum yum at the end of the line, it was probably about as much as two ketchup packets worth. Not a huge deal since you can always get more on your own, but still annoying. I actually finished my food, still hungry, fairly seriously considering ordering more.
After eating we went over to the Bibitea section. We usually go to the Easton location, and that one doesn't have tea, so the tea was new to us. It was cool that they offered samples, and the girl manning the booth was very nice, but she also wasn't very knowledgeable/helpful regarding the tea. I didn't want to stand there trying every single one, so I just randomly picked, and luckily I picked something that I did really enjoy. The layout is odd though, because when you order there's not really any good area to wait, so you naturally just stand by the order/pickup section which is also right in front of the front door where everyone is trying to come in.
Those were the more major annoyances, but there were other smaller things as well. So while I was really excited for this location to open, since it's much closer and more convenient than the Easton location, I'll probably still continue to go to the Easton location for the next few months. I'm hoping though that the staff just needs time to learn and that things will get better going forward.
Lastly, I'm not one to do reviews much, whether good or bad, but I thought this might help managers/owners get insight into a customer's perspective of the...

Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had at a Bibibop. I placed a pick-up order on the app for 4 bowls from the N Hamilton Rd Gahanna location. THREE out of the four bowls were wrong. One missing extras I paid for, one missing broccoli entirely, and one with the completely wrong base.
I tried calling the location — the number listed routes to a corporate line, then transfers you to the store… which goes straight to voicemail. No way to actually speak to anyone.
I sent my son back to fix the two worst mistakes. The manager argued with him instead of apologizing or fixing the issue. She claimed she “couldn’t tell” if the base was wrong because it had been mixed — as if customers are supposed to eat from the bottom first to check her work. She finally remade the bowls, but STILL messed it up. Instead of just adding broccoli to the one bowl, she made a completely different bowl altogether.
So after two trips, wasted time, and multiple arguments, I still ended up with a wrong order. Terrible customer service, zero accountability, and apparently no way to reach the store directly.
Save yourself the frustration — this location clearly doesn’t care about accuracy...
