We hit it at the worst time - They were standing room only. It's a good thing we ordered to go because the smell from the car wash was nauseating. I had to park behind the restaurant and walk around the building just to place my order. I had a coupon for a free appetizer and a gift card and the app didn't function with both, for some reason. We got their version of a blooming onion petals - they were more like Arbys which is why I gave them a 4. At $12 I expected them to taste fresh and not like they we frozen an dropped into the fryer. Another reason for the 4 - the curbside employee was expected to take orders, run them out and she couldn't figure out how to make the coupon work. This is the coupon provided for opening a loyalty account. We ordered a chopped steak with mushrooms and onions, loaded baked potato and salad. With the load of bread we decided to split the meal and it was MORE than enough for us. We had half a loaf of bread left over and some of the appetizer bagged up for later. Even shared a slice of bread with the kiddo an a few petals with the dog. They got the steak right. A great job on a medium well done burger (aka chopped steak). The lady working the carry out section was very friendly and apologetic for everything. I think they were just not staffed appropriately for a Friday night at 6PM. I had to wait outside for my food because there was no place inside to even stand, and that smell from the car wash was even in the vestibule of Longhorn- it smelled like a urinal cake- #sogross. Our total meal was good and we would definitely consider earning here again. I would try a different appetizer in the future or skip it all together.

It was my first time eating here and I brought my mom to celebrate her birthday. We came on a pretty busy night, but it seemed like the restaurant was prepared for crowds, social distancing, and masks. There was plenty of parking, despite the busy night. They also have WiFi for customers to use and plenty of seating. I got the Outlaw Ribeye and it's big and it was cooked to what I asked, medium rare. It was seasoned very well and juicy! We also ordered the salmon dish and it was cooked pretty well. It was a bit dry, but still pretty delicious. The rice the salmon was on top was seasoned and it was also pretty good. Overall, the sides we ordered very good and cooked well. We enjoyed the food, but some of the food was just a bit dry. Overall I spent $70, with tip. It's not a cheap meal for 2, but it was yummy. It was also my mom's birthday and they do a little song and give you free ice cream! This was very kind and nice of staff members to take a break, to come sing for her birthday. The manager (we think?) Was also walking around during dinner to greet customers and to ask how their meals were. He also came back to wish a happy birthday to my mom. Staff was incredibly nice and super helpful. However, service was a bit slow, probably due to the amount of people in the restaurant, but understandable. I recommend this restaurant for dinner, family outing, casual date, or a nice hardy steak!

What is wrong in this world? Since it was an easy day for me I thought to go out at a steak house across my home and N’joy a fillet or two without me doing nothing my self (I am working as an executive chef for a leaving) . So I sit at the bar since I was alone and they don’t let you sit on a table if you are alone even if the restaurant was empty. My order: 2x9oz ( never trust a skinny chef) fillet mignon medium please with a baked sweet potato, French fries and a beer. Simple yes? Nope. It took them 30’ to serve me this. No grill marks no nothing. Just 2 burned out peace of meat made at the stove on the fly. 63$ thank you very much…. I was very hangry and removed the burned top and I only eat the meat inside. And that was the 2nd consecutive time. (The 1st time was during a busy Saturday night a year ago. I thought to give them another chance so I went early at 3pm on a Friday in an almost empty restaurant). The girl at the bar ask me the usual fake how is everything and I answered not so good. Her reaction: she just moved along to the other side of the bar. I asked for the bill, I paid and added a small tip even I shouldn’t. Never going back to this place. I suggest everyone who has respect for what he is eating to stay away from this place.

We always have such good experiences here, but our experience tonight was terribly disappointing. When we called ahead to ensure seating was available for dinner, we were disconnected and had to call back. On my second call, the server commented that he would transfer me to the host area, and that if they were doing their job properly, I would probably get on the call ahead list. When I did speak to the host area and asked if there was a wait, they interrupted me to say they could not hear anything I was saying. When I repeated myself, she said she would put me on the call ahead list. I said, "So there is a wait?" She replied, "Not as of now." Okay, so probably no need for us to be on the waitlist, I would say? Anyways, we arrive a few minutes later and are seated by a sullen and disinterested host. Once we sat down, our server came over and asked for drinks. She seemed pleasant enough, but she had awkward moments of not understanding what we needed throughout the entire meal, including when we received our bills. She also informed us that someone forgot to make any bread so we would have to wait for it. Throughout the evening, we received incorrect portions from what was ordered, some items were completely forgotten in the order, we had another server deliver our food and then never return when asked for more butter, and then we had shrimp come out undercooked. The server did offer, awkwardly and hesitantly, to have a new set of skewers made, but we declined. The manager then stopped by to ask why we didnt enjoy the shrimp and to apologize that we didn't enjoy it. When we told her why, she simply repeated that she was sorry that we didn't enjoy it. Not an apology for actually undercooking it...just an apology for our unenjoyment. Consequently, we had to ask to have it removed from the bill. The manager did not offer. Lastly, when the bills arrived, our server was unable to tell us how much was left on the gift card we paid with. The entire experience was appalling and unprofessional. We were not rude or demanding in our requests. Being busy or forgetting an item is not a big deal, but it was not busy. And, in my opinion, what would ever make it okay for staff members to complain about one another to customers??? My hope is that management will see this and take steps to correct the issues within the...

Below is my review from March of last year, at which time I had no intention of returning to LongHorn due to the poor experience. I will give them credit for promptly responding to my complaint and attempting to make it right with a gift card, however I was very disgruntled. That being said, my daughter wanted to return for her birthday so we did in fact return tonight. I am very happy to change my review to a 5 stars. I really have nothing negative to say. Molly, our server, was very prompt, polite, and friendly. The timing of receiving the food was perfect, right when we finished the appetizer we received our salads, and as I was taking my last bite of salad my meal was delivered. We started with the onion appetizer which was hot and very tasty, not overly greasy. I went with the full slab of ribs which fell off the bone and were cooked to perfection. My daughters steak was prepared just as ordered and she enjoyed it, and my wife's steak was so perfect she actually cleaned her plate. We finished with a chocolate cheesecake and the donuts. The donuts reminded me of elephant ears from the fair and I would highly recommend. I can't emphasize how wonderful everything really was. I can happily say I will be back.

I have been to Longhorn many times in the past, since covid I have only used take out until today when we decided to go for my cousins birthday. We waited for 45 minutes just to order our food, another 45 minutes to receive our salads and an additional 45 minutes for our dinner to arrive. I ordered a ribeye rare, which came out med plus at best and was possibly the worst cut of ribeye I have ever had. Another person in my party didn't receive the mushrooms she ordered (although she was still charged for them) and my cousin requested no bacon in the mac n cheese for religious purposes, it came with bacon, he substituted mashed potatoes just so he could have some side with his food, yet was still charged for the upgrade mac n cheese. When our food finally arrived the person delivering it was very rude and had no idea what she was handing out. All in all this was a horrible dining experience and I will be going to Texas roadhouse from now on, considerably less expensive and much better...

The manager at the N. Hamilton Road Longhorn is terrible ignoring my request to make things right after 2 bad visits.

Three months agp my husband and I had steaks at the Longhorn that were so salty we couldn’t eat them. The manager told us since we were “so great” (and not demanding), he’d take 10% off our bill. Really? He should have removed the inedible steaks from our bill or had them recooked. We left them on our plates. Terrible customer service.

A week ago we decided to celebrate my husband’s bday & give Longhorn another try. We both ordered steaks and specifically requested “very little salt”, explaining to the waitress our last experience with horribly salty steaks. Inedible. When we got our steaks, they were almost as salty as the last. In the end, we paid $64 for overly salted steaks, again. My husband didn’t want to make waves on his bday, so we didn’t complain.

Due to the high sodium content I had a migraine afterward. Please listen to your customers and serve what is requested. We left an undeserved 20% tip for our waitress since we felt it was probably the cook’s fault.

A few days afterward, I felt it should be called to their attention so I called the Longhorn manager, told him about our experiences and asked if he could do anything for us. He told me, “My computers are down, but once they’re up, I'll call you.” He never asked for my number, so he had no intenton of doing that. That was 5 days ago and I’ve heard nothing, so I called today and was told the manager couldn’t speak with me.

So after serving terrible food, paying well over $150 over 2 bad visits, the management will blow you off rather than make things right. The “manager” at N. Hamilton shouldn’t be managing anything except his poor customer service and bad behavior.

We're done with Longhorn....
