My name is Brittany, I live in Gahanna off of morse and hamilton. I enjoy ordering pizza from this location on a regular basis. They are normally pretty friendly, and pizza is always hot and on time about 99% of the time. I get the same thing every single time, thin crust pizza, an order of wings sauce on side with half spicy asian, and hot. And cheesy breadsticks and perhaps pepsi if I'm in the mood! I tip every single time and I'm always nice in return so my experience is normally pretty pleasant! The driver's are great!
HOWEVER! I normally order after 4 or 5pm. So the past couple weeks I have ordered before 2pm and I did like it. Last week, I had ordered and my pizza wasn't really hot and I live right up the road. I tried to be sympathetic since we had that big storm and they might have got really busy. But the driver made up for it, she was very talkative, friendly, and understanding. Today, I had called again (before 2pm) and I was put on hold for 5 minutes exactly (cell phone counter.) About 1pm and they were already open for a while. And I thought maybe they were just busy for lunch or whatever. So no biggy. But the man who was on the phone had a tone in his voice as if he were in a bad mood or just didn't feel like being there. Understandable. I had to repeat what I ordered, and thought he got it right but he misunderstood, as I got my pizza and it was wrong. It was not thin, it was pan. I really hate pan pizza and would never order it from anywhere. So when I called back I was really friendly and he argued that HE was the one who took my order and that was what I told him. And I said no, i would never order "pan" and that he must have misunderstood....! I don't know if he was just in a bad mood or what, but I told him that everything else on the order was great, and I just wanted to exchange the pizza since i live right up the road. But he insisted still, that he took the order and only rang in what he heard. I said to him, "look, I'm not calling to argue or get my money back or anything, I just want the pizza right. I get the same thing every single week on a monday or tuesday. Just replace my order please, and it's not a big deal." And he is. But I did not call and expect to have someone be rude, I can just start ordering somewhere else if it's a problem. There's like 10 pizza shops around gahanna. I can afford to buy another one, it's not like i'm tryin to get free pizza out of them, i spend enough money here once a week. Petty $10 for a pizza. I'm a pretty regular customer, and don't respect people who try to argue their way out of fixing their own mistake. I have worked in food for about 7 yrs i know how it is. Learn better customer service or lose your regular customers. Thanks! Brittany, Tobey Drive.
UPDATE: Pizza was replaced, it took forever to get here. I had barely any sauce at all, when I had asked for extra originally (like I always do) and the pizza was over cooked (cheese was kinda black all over.) Driver didn't say one word to me (it was the samed driver, who was nice the first time) and was really in a hurry. Pizza was warm, but not really hot.... I think they are just having a bad day lol. Pizza was terrible...
Read moreDO. NOT. ORDER. DELIVERY. FROM THIS LOCATION!!! 2x now in the same month I have had below great service. My first order was at the beginning of the month and they used Door Dash to deliver the order which of course means a couple items were missing from my order since Door Dash doesn’t have the ability to double check my order. So I called and got management right away who sent out the missing items promptly. No big deal.
My second order 3 weeks later again used Door Dash and AGAIN pieces of my order were missing. So I called and a worker placed me on hold for 20+ minutes who actually never returned so I hung up. I tried calling 2x more each spaced about 10mins apart and the restaurant never even bothered answering my phone call after 15mins wait each time, like they knew who it was and purposely ignored it.
Mind you I live alone so it’s only one person and my orders are never huge or complicated and they STILL can’t get it right!
Every couple of months I try ordering from this restaurant and every couple months they ALWAYS manage to give a poor experience.
NEVER AGAIN will I order from this location. PAPA JOHNS is about the same distance away and hardly have any problems there! I only order from Pizza Hut b/c their flavors for pizza and wings offer just a little bit more options than most. Small sacrifice for a place with...
Read moreTERRIBLE SERVICE
I've lived around here my whole life and everytime I decide to order from this particular pizza hut, I experience TERRIBLE service. I'm not sure why I keep coming back to this one. If you call, your call will likely be picked up, and immediately hung up. This just happened to me just now again, they've done this in the past too and I'm just mind blown. They obviously don't care for your service, or you. I work in a pizza place too and to treat a customer the way they do is unprofessional and quite rude.
So I begin saying what I would like (I had a a coupon) and this guy cuts me off talking saying "Nope. Huh uh. No. I cant do that. I cant do, you'll have to go online." And he HANGS UP. Like doesnt even say "oh sorry, you'll have to do that online, thanks, have a good day", none of that. He clearly was rushing me off the phone, and could care less to jump the gun and not let me speak, then be short and rude about his response.
Again, this isnt the first time I've experienced this here...sometimes they have really good employees, other times and ya know, I need to get this guys name, he honestly shouldnt be working there because he is dismissing sales by repeatedly hanging up the phone. Of course I'm going to call back 5 times until you actually say HELLO.
Just...
