I was excited to see tamales on the menu, especially strawberry ones. But tonight's visit was disappointing. I had a large order of 11 tamales but was told they come in pairs of 2 so I ordered 12. My husband ordered an additional 2 tamales, a burrito, and 2 cans of coke. He was charged $8 for the two cans and then she brought us 2 more cans so pretty sure he was charged for 4. Had to repeat my order a few times to get the correct amounts of tamales flavors. Waited 30 minutes for them to be ready. My husband's 2 were brought out before the rest of the order. When they were brought out I was told they were out of the strawberry and cheese so they just filled in with green and red tamales. So I paid $30 for 12 tamales to not have half of my order. We were offered another item off the menu but we had waited so long and honestly should have been refunded for the 6 tamales they didn't have. When we got home we realized my husband was also did not receive a strawberry tamales and was not even told they substituted his tamale. His was also packaged differently, covered in sauce and missing the corn husk wrapping. If they knew 10 minutes in when they delivered my husband's food that they were out of strawberry and cheese tamales I don't know why we weren't informed and offered a refund or verbally told they were substituting. REVIEW UPDATE: the owner called me as soon as I posted this review and was very attentive. He offered to make my order again and even added in extra! This is probably the best resolution from a restaurant owner I have ever had. Despite the mistake of the employee, management is the very best. They just won back a customer😋 Don’t hesitate to order from this restaurant!!

1st Review: I called to place an order on Uber eats well before the store closed and they cancelled my order on the app. When I finally called the store I had to call 4 times before I could reach someone because whoever answered kept talking to other people while I was saying hello. A girl finally picked up and told me that they actually are still taking orders for another 30mins. When I asked if she could resolve the issue on the app for me she was completely uninterested and didn’t even bother to show any form of customer service. When I call most places with this issue they are prompt at trying to resolve the issue. All she could say after I asked 2 more times is that she could tell her boss but nothing about calling me back or giving me update so I can place another order. Im not the type of person to really write reviews but….. after stopping by today I got to say I enjoyed it to the fullest. I ordered the habanero wings as my appetizer and they were the perfect balance of spicy and savory giving you the true essence of a habanero flavored wing. Aint no artificial habanero sauce over here!!!! (In my best Daym Drops impression) The chips and salsa were good as well as expected for an authentic Mexican restaurant. Queso blanco dip was perfect as well. For my entree I ordered the birria tacos with the shredded beef. I gotta say top three i have tasted not too greasy or soggy had the perfect crunch to them to dip right into the delicious dip. I read many reviews of the margaritas so I expected them to be good but they were above my expectations. As a person who doesn’t drink much i have to say it was perfectly balanced with just the right amount of flavor and took my tastebuds for a ride! The service was excellent as well i was greeted upon entering and the food came out faster than expected. Overall if i could give this more than 5 stars based on these factors ide give it six. I definitely will be back very soon and i plan on bringing more friends...
