Super 8 by Wyndham Columbus — Hotel in Columbus

I'm originally from cbus Ohio.. this motel has had it's ruff times in the past..wich made me not ever to come here.. I've been having housing issues so I go where it's cheap..I wasn't happy with recent reviews wich made me believe it's still ruff...You know customers are your first priority. Customer service should be 100 along with a smile..also customers should take responsibility and act like adults..Now The reviews made me not come here but Wyndham rewards I built up I had a free night..So I cringed and booked it for here.. Upon arrival wasn't good..Now the motel itself was not at fault.. Michelle kept apologizing because there was $100 deposit... Well no money in my pockets I had to sit outside and search for that deposit😩 Wyndham shame on you you should put what motel that you chained with that carries your name that require deposits that should be on the first page not on the last page... I had food and insulin that almost got ruined.. With all these reviews talking about holes in the walls the parking lot trashed but guess what that comes from you customers so why don't you take part be an adult and put in the trash the motel provides ..plenty around the parking lot for you to put in. That way when people come in they don't see it..Grow up👈 This motel has came a long way yes it's got band aides because customers can't respect the motel act like adults follow the rules it gets expensive for motels especially destruction from customers and people want to get upset about the deposits well that's customers fault which make it hard on people who follow the rules and respect the motels property. I have not seen one bug nor one roach I speak up on my room that I've been in for I think now 5 days now.. the room is huge and the cleanest by far out of the other 4 motels I stayed here in Columbus by Wyndham I won't mention those disgusting rude and deposit stealing motels which cost me $300 of deposit money that I wasn't told I had to pay upon arrival 2 hours after my booking.. super 8 motel North pat yourself on the back because you deserve it.. very clean great customer service with a smile fresh clean linens all the towels you need without attitude ..comfortable beds very quiet for sleeping hallways were very clean.. it's very expensive to maintain a motel so think about that when you put your cigarette out on a very expensive comforter when you're not supposed to be smoking in your rooms...and the next customer comes in rites a bad review because of you..Mao you D man thanks for no attitude and understanding giving me extra time to renew my room.. I didn't get all your names.. and I don't need to because there is no I in team general manager you got an awesome crew here always happy smiles and they do their job unlike the other 4 that I won't mention that was way more expensive wasn't even worth...

From the very start our visit was not good. My fiancé and I traveled all the way from North Carolina. We made a reservation for 4 nights a week prior. After our lengthy drive we finally made it to our destination, here. We checked in around 3:45pm and our room was not ready. We waited about 15-20 minutes before our room was done getting cleaned. I rushed into the room to use the restroom, after a long drive it can be assumed how badly I had to go. I reached to get the toilet paper and it was soaking wet.. I then went for the wrapped roll that was wet as well. Not exactly sure how that happened. My fiancé then turned the air conditioner on and it was the loudest squeel I've ever heard. Maintenance was there promptly, but the issue was never resolved. We left for a few hours and came back. It was about 11:30pm when we heard a huge party outside our room, motorcycle engines being reved, screaming, and music being blasted. We looked out the window to see hundreds of people right outside our window, all with alcohol in their hands. I then called the front desk and they assured us it would reside shortly. After about 15minutes I decided to check the reviews to see if this was something usual for this place.. I then found multiple reviews about bedbugs. I then checked our matress to find the most disgusting infestation of bedbugs ever. We packed up our belongings and went straight to the desk to get a refund. They sent a lady back  to the room with us who reassured us it was definitely bedbugs. The lady was actually the nicest person we encountered there. We left and got our refund. It was 2am before we found a new place. We finally got to rest our heads after a long day. DO NOT GO TO THIS SUPER8. THE PRICE MAY BE APPEALING BUT ITS...

This hotels policies and ethics are only followed through with guests who aren't "frequent flyers" and not on their favorites list. I noticed the ones who live there and or are on extended stay, can get away with not following what their regulations are, but they wouldn't extend me any more days because they said " there was too much activity in and out of my room... " my husband and I both go in and out a lot, so what. I paid to rent there and I was not aware we were signing in to be bound to our room... I had 2 friends come by for a little while each and apparently that's not allowed if you aren't one of their favorites either.

There were kids running, jumping, stomping, yelling all through the hallways all hours of the early morning and night time. It continued my whole stay. The security guard profiled me immediately when I went outside to smoke a cigarette and asked me if you are not a guest here you cannot be here I said I am the guy said oh really what's your room number like I was lying to him so he profiled me immediately because I don't know somebody that was just hanging out or in somebody else's room I guess I'm not sure. Totally not professional, ethical, or customer supporting.

There were were people smoking pot out front, blasting music from their cars, carrying on at 3 am outside loud as can be..nothing was done or said - staff and security was right there during those times. Yet I get evicted for having a normal life.. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN PEACE AND TO BE...
