Update We absolutely love this place food, staff, and owner are great.

The only problem that we are having is with the little man that owns the pigsty of a mechanic bay/ repair shop next door or whatever you want to call it. He likes to come over and disturb the customers who are eating food there to move their cars even though he don't own the property that the restaurant is on the church does. He likes to come in and tell you to move your car multiple times, and if you don't , he's Threatens that he's gonna fork lift your car. Wish he would have. And then when you walk outside to get back in Said car after not moving it. He wants to come out and intimidate you with other people. 😆 🤣 Oh , and if you do move it beware , he will block you in and will not move it after blocking you in. So please customers beware of the little man next door. Maybe if he cleaned up his pigsty of a property, he'd be able to move his cars around. I feel bad for the owner of the restaurant. Because the little man next door is trying to ruin his business. I would happily leave a review on his business, but he doesn't have his business name on Google, and Franklin County Auditors only have his name. So please enjoy the food. Enjoy the staff and the owner and don't listen to the little man next door he doesn't own the property that the restaurant is on. doesn't have the right to tell you to move your car and if he threatens you in any way I would personally laugh at him and tell him to go clean up his property.

We live right down the street from this place. We highly recommend we are here at least once a week the owner is fantastic. If you are looking for authentic mexican food this is your place. We recommend getting the fish tacos and always try...

We dined here on a Sunday evening with our friends who had been there before. The first positive, they are open late on Sundays.

The restaurant has a new owner, a lovely couple with a small number of staff to help. Taking this in consideration, their service is slow but is warm and excellent. They really care to ensure that you are feeling comfortable and are served the food the right way. One of the owner also runs the kitchen. So do consider their hard work and dedication in running the restaurant.

The menu has a wide selection of authentic Mexican cuisine. This is a welcome change compared to run-the-mill rinse-and-repeat cheesy fatty flavorless food you could find in big-name local chains.

My Son and I loved the Quesabirria tacos. They were flavorful, not greasy, and done with the right amount of filling served with a healthy side of consome.

The Enchilada Verdes, both vegetarian and shrimp versions, were refreshing with light but tasty sauces. The presentation is simple and homely. They do not have a kids menu but were able to make a Chicken burrito. That was a hit with my 5-year-old.

We loved the huge serving of horchata. It had just the right amount of sugar and was lighter to drink. Felt like a healthy version of the drink and we loved it.

Like I said, be patient and you will be rewarded with good food. I hope they will speed up the service as they staff...

If you’re ever in the Easton / Westerville area, this hole-in-the-wall Mexican joint is a must stop. You walk into what looks like a little yellow house and are immediately engulfed by lively Mexican music + all the smells.

The menu is written on a couple white boards. You place your order and take a seat. There are no price points on the menus and items are tallied at the end by hand. Our order came out to $37 before tip. I read on google they are cash only and panicked that we didn’t bring cash but turns out this is no longer the case; we paid by card.

Quesabirrias were recommended by the chef. He said this had the true authentic flavors of Mexico. We had to try it then! It is birria-style beef folded into a tortilla but with melted cheese too! This dish was the star for us.

The tostadas de camaron was also delicious but note the shrimp is cold - almost like an appetizer instead of an entree. There was a huge amount of shrimp and a delicious mango salsa that was very fresh. Glad I tried but probably wouldn’t order again since I prefer warm shrimp.

Lastly the two tacos…so much flavor. Protein was cooked perfectly and they pack the tortillas full of it...

UPDATE.. I went back today and had another excellent meal again. I can't say thanks enough. Great food and it's really authentic, as I'm a experienced traveler and I've been everywhere 😂 Once again I had the Beef quesabirria tacos again. I liked it a lot. I guess They sell the lamb on Sunday by the Pound take away. As every time I've been to this cantina I had great food. ......... Today I had the Lamb Tacos. Very mild and delicious. Very tender. Served with a side of lamb broth and chickpea and rice soup. I can definitely recommend it! Busy for lunch Sunday afternoon and definitely quick. Most excellent! Food is excellent and seriously delicious. I had very quick service, food was made to order. I've been by a few times and they were very busy, but on a Saturday afternoon they were prompt and they have seating inside the cantina. I had the quesabirria which was a good sized portion and had plenty of beef and came with the stew that it was cooked in. My wife had the Enchiladas Verde which was excellent as well! Definitely worth checking out! Parking is limited. They also serve breakfast as well.
