We had a rough meal here last night. We have eaten here before and found it was good so we came back but likely won’t be doing that again. First, I asked our server if we could swap one type of chicken they make for another type of chicken they make for a different dish. Our servers response was an uncaring no, you can’t do that. We pressed a bit more (as we had done it last time we were in with no problem) and she continued to tell us no but would not explain why this was an issue or check with the kitchen or manager. Finally the manager walked by and we spoke up to ask him if this was possible. He acted as if this was no issue at all. Our server acted as though she did not want to come back to our table for the rest of the meal. We waited quite a while for the food to come out. It finally does and my and my partners food is basically not edible. The sauce on my dish has so much lemon mixed with the cream that a weird reaction had started to happen and it tasted like lemony vomit. Our entire table of four people agreed it was aweful and not edible. Just completely over saturated with lemon. My fiancé’s pizza was also fairly odd in flavor but it is possible it was still made correctly and just not to our tase which would be fine on its own. The other two dishes our friends received we’re fine. My partner and I were just done with the experience so we didn’t bother to say anything about the bad food. It just was not worth it...
Read moreMy friends & I ate at Figlio tonight for Restaurant Week. The experience was sub-par.
Side note: the salt shaker holes aren't even big enough for the course salt that they contain so anyone who wants salt has to unscrew the lid to access it; this isn't much labor but speaks to the lack of consideration and attention to detail. This week is very lucrative and restaurants should be on their A-game. If I take the time to make reservations and pay with hard-earned money, it would be nice to be...
Read moreI have always LOVED Figlios but this last visit was a total disappointment. Parking is now a challenge, which I know is NOT Figlios and wish we could have a say in changing that. We dined in near the bar. Seat was old and slippery and I kept sliding off. Literally had to hook my feet around the rungs to keep from sliding off. Ordered mixed drinks. Vodka tonic and vodka soda. Both tasted like just soda and tonic with little to no alcohol Another in our party had a martini which also was not good as it tasted like vermouth. Our server Nolan was the exception and was wonderful! Dinners were very good to the taste but no salad was included and we believe the portions have shrunk...for $30 a meal it was sad we were ALL hungry after our meal. With dinner ( and since we certainly were not ordering another tasteless drink for $8 ), #3 of us were going to order the House Chardonnay. We then opted for a bottle since it would be cheaper. However, when we got the bill it included a DIFFERENT wine that costs $65! Luckily we review each and every bill and got that corrected. Sadly, we all said we didn't want to return as we felt the experience was not worth our cost. I am saddened to take Figlios off my list of...
