Subs here are solid. Never had a concern with the quality here if I can order what I want and it successfully gets delivered, which is rare.
In person service is good and friendly, however multiple times I have left because they are out of ingredients for the sub I want. Random stuff like bread, tuna, lettuce, etc. It happens, I guess.
The delivery service continues to leave much to be desired. Placed an order online a few months ago and they forgot my pickle. Wasn’t a big deal and again… things happen, so I just wrote it off as a loss.
This past weekend, I ordered their ‘Meal Deal’ which upgrades you to drinks and chips at no cost. I also paid additional to upgrade the drinks to bottles instead of fountain. This time they remembered my pickle, but forgot the drinks and chips. I immediately called in and they said they’d credit me back the charges for the chips and drinks. Charge finally cleared and no refund was given. Called in and they couldn’t find my order, despite me having the receipt info and order number. No refund was given and they couldn’t send me out the missing chips and drink. So now I have to find time to go in and pick them up… and I’m hesitant to believe I’ll be successful there without additional pushback.
Overall, frustrating because I love Jimmy John’s, however this location just can’t seem to figure out a complete order. So order in person to make sure you get what you want in advance or just don’t...
Read moreI have always loved Jimmy John’s over Subway, and go to this location often as it’s by my house. I understand COVID-19 has created lots of obstacles and has been difficult for everyone. I placed my order online, and the system wouldn’t let me add another sandwich, but ignored it as my sister was fine with getting something elsewhere. I walked in a few minutes after placing the order, and waited 10 minutes before I was greeted. Mind you there were not a lot of orders to be made, and overheard the gentleman telling an phone order it would be a 45 minute to an hour long wait. The woman asked me if I needed help with anything and I said I was just waiting on my online order. Didn’t ask for my name or anything. Her and the young gentleman working with could not have moved slower. I work in food service myself, and have never seen such a slow pace. Not to mention, the woman was NOT wearing a face mask or any type of hat/hairnet which was disgusting. I waited 30 minutes for two sandwiches, and had to ask for the status of them myself. I will never return here again, and am shocked at the lack of care in customer satisfaction and coordination with CDC guidelines and health code expected of restaurant employees. Not to mention a child about 8 years old was sitting in the hallway...
Read moreI have been a customer here for a few years now, and I used to love their online ordering and fast delivery. I am giving an extra star, because of their excellent history. However, starting with the past month, they can't seem to get my order right. The sandwich that arrives is an approximation of what I ordered and may not include everything, or may include extra toppings I did not order. This is understandably bound to happen from time to time, but after consistently getting the wrong order multiple times within a single week, I contacted their corporate customer support and asked for a reason to ever order again. They told me to order again and maybe things would be better. I am choosing not to. As my long history of orders should attest, I am not some sort of professional customer looking for a handout, I am just a dude who wanted what he paid for.
At least the delivery is indeed freaky fast. They can mess up my order faster than anywhere else.
Been over 6 months now, and no one has reached out to me to make things right, and I am not dumb enough to have been back. They just don't care from corporate on down.
