I want to start with the good because I really love Qdoba. The food at this location is exactly what I expect, phenomenal. I got a quesadilla and it was fantastic. The meat was juicy and tender, the veggies were crisp and delicious, and the cheese ratio was perfect.
The service at this location was horrible. When my husband and I walked up together they took his order, and the lady told me "You must wait, I have online orders" and proceeded to grab tickets for 4 online orders to work before my meal. I went to stand next to my husband by the register to wait until someone in the back snapped at her to do mine while my husband was waiting at this register.
When she started mine she gave me HALF the meat my husband was given and had the audacity to ask if I wanted double meat. I stated I would like the normal amount of meat and they did fix it.
At the register the person working the register was completely ignoring us at first. It was very strange and uncomfortable, until they handed him our finished quesadillas. Then he started ringing us up, again without speaking to or looking at us.
My husband realized they didn't add the guacamole he asked for (which is free at Qdoba, they make a big deal of it) and they kept saying do you want to purchase it as a side item? My husband kept asking if they changed it, that guacamole costs money now. The register guy and the lady making meals wouldn't say yes or no, just kept asking if we wanted to purchase it as a side. After he KEPT trying to find out if they have changed their policy on guacamole and they kept not answering, she finally just put some on our plates and they didn't charge us for it. Overall it just felt like they were trying to get one over on us the entire time. It felt like they hated having customers in the store, and that's fine.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe love Qdoba! We get it about a few times a month because everyone loves it and the prices are very affordable. The food is DELICIOUS and the portions are HUGE!! Our entire family prefers Qdoba over Chipotle, hands down EVERY time. The staff at Qdoba is also the best! Always very helpful.
If you love Tex-Mex food but can't eat spicy food, you can get Qdoba and not have the heat. Last night I got a bowl with the lime shrimp (a generous portion) and all my other regular favorite toppings and had no problem with heat. It's great for people who love Tex Mex food but can't tolerate spicy hot food, like me. Their food is completely customizable, whereas chipotle isn't. And their staff is incredibly helpful, where the staff at our local Chipotle isn't.
Part of the reason I chose Qdoba is because I LOVE guacamole and thought it was great they offer free guacamole because their guacamole is absolutely DELICIOUS! This is where I had a small misunderstanding. I thought I could get guacamole on my food and a side of guac free. They explained that they don't charge extra for guac on your food items and it's ALWAYS a VERY generous amount of guacamole. I could bathe in avocado and eat guacamole at every meal! I understand now and their policy is more than fair because right now avocados are incredibly expensive! To offer free guacamole on your food is a huge bargain! And we truly appreciated the time and effort they took to reach out and straighten things out. We've only gotten that level of service from our absolute favorite restaurants... Qdoba, Jason's Deli, 101 Beer Kitchen, and Firebirds.
If you're looking for great Tex-Mex food that's very affordable and completely customizable go to Qdoba. You won't be...

Qdoba has excellent food, so that can't be what you are interested in for my review...
Well, it is the age of COVID, so indoor seating isn't a big deal, but, if it were, this location could get challenging with a larger crowd.
Space is even more challenging outside. At peak times (say, non-COVID Sunday lunches) the parking lot will be tight as this location features about the same amount of space as the neighboring Dunkin Donuts, but without the drive-thru focused business.
To top it off, this entire shopping area is fed by two entryways. The northern entryway has a light that will allow you to enter and exit fairly easily, but the traffic patterns around the southern entry way are a little more challenging...
This shouldn't stop you from stopping in and enjoying the food, though--just be a little careful...
