I usually pick up my sandwich, but lately I've had a few delivered. I finally moved to delivery radius and decided to start taking advantage. I eat 3x a week usually picking up in person, but today, I just was so hungry and nothing beats a freaky fast delivery, right? Here is my experience.
First call today: Hello? I say Hello is this Jimmy John's? No response.
Second call: Jimmy John's Me: Hi I' like a turkey Tom no cheese ty. My Addy is (---) Justin (Manager on duty): apartment # __? Me: Yes Please call when outside. It's a secure building. Justin: I'm sorry we don't deliver past Livingston Avenue. Me: I don't live past Livingston. I'm .8 miles away from you, and you know my Addy. I order here way too much man. Justin Manager (very rudely): we don't deliver past Livingston. We don't deliver to you. Me: I order from here all the time. May I speak to your manager? Justin: I am the manager. We don't deliver to you. Me: When is the store manager available? Justin: I'm not allowed to tell you. (Click)
Third call: my roommate calls a minute later, different phone number, same address, same order. I have my Turkey Tom.
The driver tells me I confirmed the wrong address. I only confirmed the apartment number, and I know you record calls. Please do check. This is the last$10 Jimmy John's will ever get from me. I used to order here a lot. I asked the driver, do I not tip you enough? I mean it's $4 on a $6 sandwich. I was a server. I get it. He was adamant I gave the wrong address. No apology. No I'm sorry we made a mistake by inputting the wrong address. Usually he'd of gotten the whole $20, but today, I was done. Never again Jimmy John's. Terrible service. I am so sad right now for you ruining something once so great. I wish I could return the sandwich. Thanks for nothing Justin and...
Read moreI don't write reviews but this really pissed me off tonight. I went through the drive thur in Greenlawn and ordered a Giant #7 and a regular #7 no onions, extra tomato on both tonight. I got home and they made all three subs wrong using ham (which I hate) and only a single serving of the other two meats which should have been double for what I'm paying. And its stated on the menu. I drove back to have them fix the subs. They took them back and remade them. Mind you I waited 15 minutes in the drive through the first time I went there. This time I waited another 10 minutes to get my remade subs. I checked them when i got to the car and noticed 2 out of the three subs had no hot peppers so i went back in for two sides of hot peppers. So i went home and realized that the one sub that had hot peppers on it had no mayo and no lettuce. Not going back again. Looks like i wont be going to Jimmy Johns for a while. The guy running the show didnt seem to care or offer apologies for the mistake or my wait. Over this location. Ya'll need to keep a copy of the menu back there for...
Read moreThis place is absolutely filthy with the way they handle food. While waiting on my order I saw one employee stop in the middle of making a sub, grab a dirty broom to broom something up and then did not change gloves before completing the sub. Right after this I saw a different employee struggle to put on gloves, ripped one glove all the way up their hand then went to make the sandwich anyway. While cutting the bread he tore a chunk off of the bread and shoved it deep inside his mouth (yes, with the glove on) and then he continued to make the sandwich after sticking his hand into his mouth. At this point I cut my losses and drove away. Why even take a sandwich i'm going to toss due to negligent mishandling? I will never come back to Jimmy Johns and I will tell everyone I know to not eat there because i don't want people to get sick. This place needs major retraining of all employees. So...
