Yesterday was a memorable evening as I had the pleasure of visiting Double Take bar and grill for the very first time. Upon arrival, my friend and I were greeted by a friendly security gentleman who welcomed us with a warm smile and a thorough but courteous pat down. This put us both at ease as we made our way into the restaurant.
We were immediately struck by the cozy and inviting atmosphere of the establishment. The decor was tasteful and stylish, with plenty of comfortable seating options and an overall ambiance that was both relaxed and sophisticated.
Our server for the evening was the lovely and personable Daisha, who proved to be a true gem. She was attentive and engaging from the moment we sat down, taking the time to introduce herself and offer us some excellent menu recommendations. Daisha was extremely knowledgeable about the various dishes and their preparation, and she made some great suggestions based on our individual preferences.
After some consideration, I decided to try the blackened salmon pasta while my friend opted for the chicken Alfredo. Both dishes were expertly prepared and tasted absolutely delicious. The blackened salmon was perfectly cooked and had just the right amount of spice, while the creamy Alfredo sauce on my friend's dish was rich and flavorful. We were both impressed with the quality and presentation of our meals, and we savored every last bite.
As we were finishing up, Daisha kindly informed us about some of the other weekly events happening at Double Take, including hip hop karaoke, which sounded like a lot of fun. We appreciated her taking the time to let us know about the different happenings at the restaurant, and it added to the overall enjoyable experience.
In conclusion, my first visit to Double Take bar and grill was an excellent one. The friendly and professional staff, inviting atmosphere, and delicious food all contributed to a memorable evening. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal and...
Read moreReservation was made for 6:30 PM friday for a group of 12. Part of the group arrives a little earlier than that, and gets seated at the table for us right away. We get some drinks as the rest of the group arrives, and we are quickly served our drinks. Around 6:45 we place our appetizers and food order, and wait. During this time a group of 10 walk in (appears to be some baseball players and coaches from the fields up the street) and they get drinks. After 45 minutes that group is then served all of their food, while we had only gotten the 2 apps we ordered (the saganaki and a salad). Another 15 minutes pass, and the other group and a few other patrons who.came in after us have already gotten their entrees and are wrapping up. Over an hour after we ordered, Jeremy (our waiter) comes up and tells one of our group that they are out of the Turkey for his sandwich. This tells us they hadn't even started to cook our meals, but yet had served a similar sized group who hadn't even placed a reservation! At that point our guest stands up and leaves. After another 10 minutes some dishes come out, a couple gyros and some pasta. All of it is cold, clearly had been sitting there for a while. After they take one bite they spit it out, and we decided to find Jeremy and tell him we are no longer interested in the food. He gets upset, and from the view from my seat (I could see back into the kitchen) I see the cook get quite upset since he had just now put our burgers on the grill. We paid for our beer and the two apps we got, and went over to gressos, where we had much better service. Overall a horrible experience from start to finish. Its understandable for smaller groups to get served, but for people who made a reservation, to not only get no entrees, but to not even know you were out of something until an hour after the order was placed was completely unacceptable. First and...

A few ethnicities are included in the food menu. The food is consistent from visit to visit. The people are the cornerstone of the establishment. Although in this particular experience the Initial Service took a little longer than I had expected, but the staff is incredibly friendly and eager to serve. When the restaurant is busier the...
