You can eat all you want.. Unless you leave too much.. Then they charge you. This is a very cool idea and I get the excitement. However for me this experience was lacking in a Lot of ways. We had never been so we thought there would be some instruction. The tables have grills in the center and stove eyes around it. There wasn't much instruction about how to prepare any of the food. Most of the food that was available was not something I usually cook at home. So some preparation or some instruction on how to cook those food items would have been very helpful. Suggested serving ideas for sauces or ways to set up the food. These kinds of things would have made a humongous difference in the way that I approached this eating experience. But our server was not very helpful with those kinds of things she didn't answer many of our questions. For the most part we figured it out on our own. There was a buffet table with some additional foods that you could use. Sauces salts oils and anything of that nature were over there on that other buffet. There wasn't much and of what was there i didn't recognize some of the foods. It's a good thing I don't mind trying new things because that's pretty much what I did the entire time I was there. We chose the Korean BBQ. Which meant we had the grill instead of the pot and since there was an extra charge for 1 of us to have the opposite of the other we agreed to 1 form of cooking. The grill gets a burn on it pretty quickly if your not careful so definitely use enough oil. Its fairly dark at the table which normally doesn't bother me because the food is already cooked but because I was cooking I would have preferred a bit more light. I liked the garlic shrimp and the beef bulgolgi. The atmosphere is very trendy and fun. Good luck to any and all of you that find my little message in the world about this.. I truly hope you enjoy. The bar looked really well stocked 😉

I celebrated my birthday🥳 lunch here, with out of town family and friends, and it was ok...🤷🏾‍♀️ 1) We were a LG party (party of 10), and they were accommodating. (Reservation option would help communicate proper info to first timers) 2) Bc we were 1st timers, we would have appreciated if our waitress was more seasoned in menu explanations & questions. (Our waitress was fine once we understood that she was new and not yet familiar with all of our questions) 3) We were never told about the bar of essentials( with ALL the oils, sauces, eggrolls, chicken wings, fries). My husband basically had to read the room and kinda figured it out. 4) The Green Tea shot was GREAT!🥃 The sangria was amazing! 🍹My little bro enjoyed his daiquiri! 🫡Shout out to the bartender! 5) I do not agree that if you have a table, with half wanting soup and the other half wanting to grill... there is an upcharge fee of $5 for the whole table per person!🤷🏾‍♀️(even if the whole table is paying separately, if I ordered to grill, and my husband ordered soup, I'm going to get charged an extra $5 fee, all because HE decided to eat soup? So, it beggs to wonder if HE will have to pay his own extra $5?🤦🏾‍♀️) Would I say, was it worth it🤔 1) We went for lunch, so it was $20.99 per person. 🤑 & 2)Time for the table starts when all your party comes together. To me, it's giving scheduled( which is why I would have preferred a reservation slot to not feel rushed. My parents were traveling from out of town and were late, so they really didn't get to enjoy the experience.) I normally have a lot more pics to share, but we were celebrating more than eating!🎉 My birthday Cheesecake was good, store bought, but I'm cool🫶🏾7/10 for overall experience😏

This was a very new experience for us. Felt a little complicated. You have the option to order Hot Pot (think build your own soup bowl) or the grill (think cook your own meat) or both! However the entire table must decide together, no mix match. Since it was our first visit, we opted for both. It was a lot of food! The soup was good and filling. The grill was good a well. You go to the side bar and get your own kimchi and sauces and things like that. Very cool because we really enjoyed the kimchi! I have a shellfish allergy so I told our server. She told me to stay away from the fried items at the bar because they're all cooked in the same oil and she didn't want her customer to die. I told her I felt the same way. I'm not 100% that was accurate info since the wings were fried and usually chicken and fish aren't comingled. Nevertheless, I got to the bar and COMPLETELY forgot the warning she gave me until after I ate a piece of chicken 🙄! It didn't taste like fish and I've had no reaction. So again, not sure if the warning was needed. The cost makes sense for the amor if food. But it seems like it's not a sustainable model. There is a notice that if you over order and waste food, they can charge $12 or13.99/pound. Can't recall which it is. Either way, be mindful because you get a lot! It was so warm inside and super smokey. All the food smells were to much and some folks were burning there stuff up!! Immediately took a shower after we got home. Clothes were full of allll the smells. I can't stand that. Overall, it was a neat experience but not sure we'll go back.

Idk if it was just me or what but the service was very slow. Waitress takes a long time to give refills on anything, even basic side items, and you only have 2 hours to stay in the seat? So a third of the time you're literally just waiting for the server to get back, then you put in what you want, then wait for it to come out... then you cook your own food which takes time... then you have what seems like less than a 3rd of the time to eat your food.

I'd rate 5/5 if not for the damned time limit.... or if there is going to be a time limit, the servers need to be very quick and attentive to getting you out your food. Otherwise how is this not a scam? All you can eat but you better make sure everything is done but many of these things are not in your control like how fast the food arrives at your table and when the servers come to check. Maybe I'm supposed to stand up and yell and wave my hands every time I need something, but how I grew up going to restaurants, this is not what you do. You're supposed to wait until the server checks on you to ask what you need.

But maybe if the owner of this restaurant reads this review, maybe they can let me know if I missed something. Maybe I missed something and there is a way to get the servers back to your table faster. Maybe a button or maybe it's just acceptable to waive down passing servers? Idk.. IF that's the case I'll try it again and readjust my review to give 4 or 5 stars. If not, then 1 star will have to do.

Regardless, the 2 hour window and long wait time meant I hardly got to eat anything. Paying so much for such little food is totally unacceptable.

I've been to similar restaurants in Asia. Much cheaper, easier to get food to the table, no time limit. I think Americans like this for the novelty or maybe I missed something. It's always possible this is a fault of ignorance of something on my part. I would love to think it was some oversight on my part because I hate leaving bad reviews but I feel it's important that people know what they're getting into so they're not wasting money in this economy...

So whoever reads this, feel free to let me know. I'll always take responsibility if I know something is more of my fault but from what I could tell it seemed like the restaurant was busy and the server and restaurant was just busy or neglectful. At some points I waited 15 to 20 or more minutes for the server to get back to me. Is...

I came yesterday with 5 of my friends and we had an extremely uncomfortable and frustrating experience. While we were ordering our soup broth, one of my friends ordered the miso broth. Our server, Hana, gave him the nastiest look after he ordered and scoffed while saying “ok” in response. We were thrown off and then I awkwardly asked “what’s the matter?” and she went on to say how my friend wasn’t representing their Asian culture well by getting the miso and how he should be ordering the szechuan broth or something other than miso as an Asian person. She rambled about how surprised she was that he would order that and continued to berate him on what he was ordering. There was no joking tone, no smiling, no lighthearted banter; just plain disrespect and ignorance. Then him and our other friend explained to her that he’s adopted and wasn’t raised in an Asian household, and the entire time she was just giving him a dirty look and acting so angry towards him. The entire interaction was genuinely so baffling and uncomfortable. Hana then went on about how Asian and Hispanic people never come in the restaurant and how disappointed she was that he wasn’t representing them well, and how inappropriate the broth choices were (mind you our table had a diverse mix of cultures and races, and regardless of this—all of her comments were beyond inappropriate.) The entire time she had the rudest tone and look on her face; she genuinely looked so offended and disgusted. I have never seen restaurant staff degrade a customer like that before and the entire table was so uncomfortable by her blatant disrespect.

I will also note that half of us wanted hot pot + Korean bbq and the other half just wanted hot pot, and we stated three separate times that we understood we all had to pay for both even if we weren’t all eating both; and her response and explanation about prices was incredibly rude and condescending as well. Additionally , half of us were military and the explanation on mil-discount not being for everyone even if we paid on one check was again extremely rude and condescending.

We all have been to hot pot + Korean bbq multiple times and never have we had such bad service and ignorant behavior from staff. Extremely gross behavior and I would never recommend this...

I brought my two friends with me tonight because the last two times I was in this restaurant everything was immaculate. We walked into the restaurant at 9:40pm and were immediately sat. Our waitress came over, and introduced herself and took our drink orders. Everything was fine until we had our food brought out to us. The lady that brought our food was extremely unprofessional, rude, and snippy. She didn’t say a word to us other than, “you know our menus are not placemats” after she placed food on them. We had to ask what meat was which and when we did she was short and attitudinal. First off, if the menus are not “placemats” then why would you put stuff on them. This is when everything went down hill. Shortly after we received our food we were told that the kitchen would be closing in 15 minutes. Keep in mind, this was at 9:58pm. We had just sat down, and we were told that after the rude staff brought our first round of food. The website states that the last seating is at 10:30pm. But if that’s the case why were we rushed? Also, everyone seemed to have a chip on their shoulder. We had multiple staff around us, sweeping and spraying cleaner like it was 10 minutes away from closing. The manager hovered around our area but not once bothered to come over and ask how everything was going. We had to ask our waitress for refills even though she was ten feet away from us socializing, on her phone, and cleaning up her section. We waited awhile until our grill was switched causing us to have to sit and wait even longer. The whole vibe was “off”. It’s sad that this was the atmosphere on a Friday night. If you’re going to close the kitchen that early, maybe notify the front staff to let people know that they will be closing the kitchen soon. My friend had an alcoholic beverage in which he stated that there was barely any liquor in it. It tasted like a fruit juice. This is sad because I truly love this place and have been a loyal customer but after tonight, I honestly don’t know if I will come back or...
