I had the absolute worst experience I have ever had today visiting Krystal on Victory Drive. I ordered a Patty melt with chilli Cheeze tots and a Roadie sweet tea. I waited and waited, and finally asked is this where u pick up online orders (over by the doordash sign) one sec sir...after awhile she never returned so I went to the counter to ask again about my order, and get told they don't make melts until 11a, but allows you to order online and said 4 minutes (It's not even 10a yet), So I ordered a second order of a 3 egg breakfast ate and waited it's now 10:45a. I finally get my melt at 11:40...but nothing else. I told her I had the meal, she then attempted to put a small frie in my bag, I then had to let the young lady know I had the meal with a chilli cheese tots and Rhodie Sweet tea. She proceeded to tell me that they don't have any Sweet tea, or chilli. So I got tots and ask her to just sprinkle cheese on those, as far as my tea, well I just got a Sprite instead, and it had an after taste and was terrible, not too mention over filled and the drink was coming all out the top and I had to get 5 napkins trying to soak up the mess. In a nutshell I wasted $14 on lunch that I absolutely did not enjoy, and waited 2 hours on top of that, after making an initial online order at 9:30a.
As far as the patty melt, in looking at it, it's looks like the same meat they use on Krystal burgers but they use bread from a loaf and put it in a toaster...and call it a patti melt, it was horrible, but when you order a patty melt, you kinda expect a patty to be apart of the spectrum of ingredients, not the same little strips used on Little Krystal burgers.
When 11a hit, there was no reason I should've had to wait, because the moment breakfast is over, all lunch items should be available and ready to go, buns steamed, meat cooked, tea ready etc. You cannot wait to start cooking or preparing for lunch at 11a, as the restaurant does not close in between, therefore all hands need to be on deck one on counter, 2 cooking and Manager bagging orders, or however they wanna do it. My point is, no customer should have had to wait 2 hours to get a sandwich, only to learn his order cannot be completed because no tea or chilli has yet to be made. UNACCEPTABLE!
I wasted my time, and my money today from incompetence. They are so lucky I wasn't a food critic or Corporate undercover boss, because I promise it would have not went well. But this experience will be posted on my YouTube Channel, Tik Toc, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook, and as you can see Google Reviews. Maybe then they will correct these issues so that no one else has to go through this horrible experience I went through today.

Read more2024 review: Coming back from an event in Pine Mountain, the BF was craving Krystal's, so we pulled up to this empty place. Dining room was closed since it was after 10. Probably closer to 11, so we hit the Drive-thru. Speaker was garbled and it was hard to understand what the cashier was saying. Turns out, it was shift change. About 10 minutes of waiting, a different cashier told us that we were not forgotten. 10 more minutes, proved that was a lie. I was a fast food manager. If myself or any of my team took 20 minutes to switch out a drawer... Fired. It doesn't take that long. And honestly, they could have taken our super simple order (24 Krystals, plain), got them to cooking and then by the time they were ready, they could punch in the order, we pay, we leave. We finally pulled off after a good solid 25 minutes of waiting. As we were waiting for a chance to turn out of the parking lot, two more cars came out of the DT. Guess they gave up too. Three cars of orders, of money, spent elsewhere simply because shift change took almost a half hour.
2020:I sat in the drive-thru for over 15 minutes,10 of that AFTER she took my card and I paid for my meal. No explanation as to why it was taking so long, I don't mind waiting for hot fresh food, but TELL me that I'm having to wait for fresh fries to come up or whatever. When I get to the window I tell the young lady that she didn't ask me if I wanted toast or a biscuit nor does she asked me if I wanted sausage or bacon. She says to me you said you wanted sausage. I told her no, ordered sausage on the other half of my order that she never asked me for sausage or bacon on that order so I tell her I want bacon and I tried to tell her I want toast and she closed the window my face. I then tried to tell her as she didn't ask me again and she replies to me I got it already. And again closed the window. She opens the window to give me my change and I asked for the general manager's names and she said miss Kesha, I believe it was. I never called the general manager because I feel did the best way to deal will the situation is to never go back. I am a chef. I work in the service industry so your cashiers and servers are very important in your business.
