This LongHorn Steakhouse is tucked away just off the interstate next to a pretty rundown motel—definitely not the most inviting location at first glance. However, once inside, it looked like your typical LongHorn: clean, comfortable, and nicely laid out. The place was surprisingly empty for a Thursday evening, which made for a quiet dining experience. Our server was excellent—friendly, attentive, and quick with drink refills. The bread came out warm and fresh, which was a great start to the meal. Unfortunately, the steaks were a bit of a letdown. We ordered the New York Strip and the Sirloin, both medium rare, but they arrived more on the rare side. The Sirloin, in particular, was chewy and undercooked, which took away from the overall experience. On the positive side, the sweet potato was cooked perfectly and tasted great. The signature mac and cheese was just okay—tasted like someone had stirred in queso, which wasn’t really what we expected. All in all, while the service and parts of the meal were solid, the steaks missed the mark. With other options around, we probably wouldn’t return to this particular LongHorn location.

We took my grandson to Longhorn for his 19th birthday. It's one of our favorite places. It's like being in Texas,, that is the atmosphere. This one is on Macon road, open for lunch and dinner, also has a bar. Whenever we eat there we want left overs to take home😀 This is what we ordered--'my daughter started with the loaded potato soup, then she ordered appetizers, Wild West Shrimp w/ ranch dressing, Spicy chicken bites, and a side of Baby Back Ribs. I had a big Chicken strip salad, and my grandson had Wings with seasoned frys. The waitress was very attentive. She came with to go boxes and lots of smiles. Then she came with a big surprise. Debi had brought a big Sundae (we all helped eat it) and on the plate underliner she had written HAPPY BIRTHDAY with chocolate syrup. Thank you Debi, I still smile when I think about how great every thing was. The Longhorn has outstanding waiters and waitresses, its very clean and always a pleasure.

Stopped in after being on the road all day and was desperate for a half-decent meal. Service was great and the staff qere awesome. I just wished the food reflected it. Everything was drenched in oil. My steak had been undercooked and I had asked for it to be cooked a little longer. The meat didn't hit the grill evenly so half the steak was well-done and half was medium. While cooking the meat a second time, it seemed they microwaved my sides to keep it warm so the mashed potatoes had a dry crust almost on top of it. The complimentary bread had a piece of fluff on the bottom of it as well, pictured below. On top, part of the restaurant had an odd, sour smell to it. Perhaps this location has had better days but I was quite disappointed and will be actively avoiding it on roadtrips moving forward.

The food was great, but the service was completely awful. I'm so disappointed in my experience here. First, we came in and were told to wait to be seated. People came in AFTER us and got seated before we did. ((KEEP IN MIND: it WAS not busy)) It took our server 10 minutes to even come to our table to give us menu's, and he didn't even get our drink orders. After another 10 minutes of waiting, he came back and got our drink orders, then ran off again (literally running) He was in such a rush the whole time we were there; he didn't even let us finish talking before he started running away. We didn't get our drinks until about 5 minutes before our food came out. We didn't get our bread until AFTER we got our food. He barely checked on us and when he did he didn't listen and didn't care what we were saying and ran away. Again, there were empty tables everywhere and multiple servers. Once we got done eating we sat there for 20 minutes waiting for him to come back so we could get togo boxes. Once he finally came he talked over us and cut us off and kept running off before we were finished talking. Then he didnt bring us our check and we were just sitting waiting when he knew we were ready for the check. Once he gave us the check he said "just go ahead and give me your card and ill run it really fast" in a very rude tone, and when my mother in law hadn't even read the check yet. So she was trying to see what the price was and he walked away to do something else and was gone for quite a long time. Worst service I think I've ever had. Honestly I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone. I won't...

Usually not as busy as “the other Longhorn” which is a good thing. Normally we have informational hostess and great service. One time we went there was a wackadoodle yelling and carrying on about the all of a sudden very busy (little did he know that other steakhouses in the area were claiming 1 hour 45 minutes wait on a seat) I’m assuming everyone else didn’t want the long wait either. But this guy was rude on informing everyone that they were going to have to wait at least 45 minutes more than what they were told. We would’ve walked out at that time because the yelling and disrespect for all the customers because it was a bit intimidating! Have to say it wasn’t too much longer than what we were told on the wait until we were seated. VERY nice server calmed us down talked gently assured us we would be taken good care of, then explained how short staffed they were that day and how most felt overwhelmed. The “ yelling” greeter finally stopped the very loud “announcements” and we had a great experience from there. Even the manager came over when we asked and sat with us for a few moments to explain that they were short staffed but they were trying to make sure everyone’s experience would bring them back. I would give 5 busting at the seams stars but that yelling was uncomfortable. We have been back since and had a very enjoyable evening - Have to say Every time before and since, I’d give Five Stars for the Servers we’ve had -The food was always hot and delicious- The management was very understanding and had all the right answers for...

When we went there was some form of party going on at the bar, it was very lit. However I had to talk way louder than I would have liked. Food was great like always! Steaks cooked to perfection! Wait time was about 10ish minutes, didn’t meet our server until we were seated for like 15 mins, again that’s okay, however I feel like the service could have been a ton better tonight! Please keep in mind that we only seen our server about 4 times, and that was for drinks, she brought our bread and app together, our food and then the check after I had to ask the manager for it due to her taking over 10mins for it! I understand staff and servers are busy especially with the party going on at the bar BUT when the check and Togo boxes are asked for it should be brought within a few minutes. I nicely asked the manger for the check because it had been over 10 mins that we asked for it with Togo boxes and like the rest of the night our server was no where to be seen! The server then comes to us and asks us “Did you ask someone else for your check?” And I simply said “only you and the manager” and she was like “well she said that y'all said you have been waiting 20 mins and I WASN'T AWARE!!” We gave her the card to pay and she grabs it with a attitude and then doesn’t even bring us back the receipt to sign. Has another server bring us the check to sign!! All I’m saying is when the check and to go boxes are asked for they should be bright within a...
