Waffle House — Restaurant in Columbus

Tim the cook, was absolutely awful. We came in looking for Taylor because we only want her as our server. As we were ordering the food, we heard our server specifically call out our order right but Tim completely ruined it. Ryan ordered cheese grits and toast and got a half a bowl of grits with probably an inch of melted butter on the top. It was a nasty sloppy mess. My eggs were not fished being cooked and the entire meal was trash. As we asked the server if they could fix our food, to add cheese in the grits, he gave us a rude look, slapped a piece of cheese on top and then walked away.

As we started eating our food, a customer at the bar asked, just to make sure, that there were no onions on the BLT. Which I can understand because I’m allergic to onions so I ALWAYS ask as well. Tim started yelling “ITS A BLT. STANDS FOR BACON LETTUCE TOMATO. NOT ONION.” In front of the customers and the server. That was so embarrassing. The face of the server broke my heart. Tim is so rude. This wasn’t the first time we dealt with him and his crummy attitude. This is NOT the job for him. My entire work group came in and got unsatisfactory results from him too. I went there and there was a rude worker named frank. When I asked my first question he was already giving attitude. I had to ask for a menu which to me was okay. Then he didnt ask if I was dining in or not but I had told a different worker cus she had asked me. So he assumed and started packing my stuff and I noticed ot was my order so I asked to make sure and he said yes with attitude and then I told him im dining in. He side eyed me with a fugly look and gave me my food and plastic to go ware. Then I asked for my syrup and he yes like Idek how to explain cus it was just so rude. Then as I was eating I realized he didnt give me my drink and I didnt want to bother him especially bc he basically yelled it out "hes running on fumes".. which is understandable but you work in customer service. Have some type of decency. Or atleast take a me talk health day! Something. Like dang you make me feel like I regretted coming in. I rather go to ihop at that point sadly. We'll I asked the other worker and he was in the background as I told him what drink I wanted and he was in the background making that ugly side eye face like im dumb. Please it was filthy and they didnt work together as a team. I waited for 5 min before my order was taken i was not greeted when i entered and i left. The male cashier could have cleaned the tables the waitress had taken everyones orders. He went to the restroom instead of cleaning the counter. He wasnt answering the phone so thete was no excuse as to why the counter had dirty dishes on it from one end to the other. That was my first time there and my last. A customer told stacey that she should clean the counter because i was there. Stacey became loud and told her she dont work there. Stacey went back to the other customers table and told them about it. She was talking loud .that was very unprofessional. If i was on assignment there as a secret shopper which i do i would have given the entire restaurant an F. Stacey and the cook were condescending towards one another...a group came in and cleaned their table. There were three people there and there was no reason the counter should have been filthy from one end to the other. The male cashier wasn't taken orders or cashing people out or answering the phone he could have cleaned the counter. They need more...
