Anywhere from last October to now, we ordered takeout. Roughly about $40 worth of take out. They opened up each box so we could check the food but there's no way to tell the difference between fried macaroni and fried mushrooms. So without sticking our fingers in other peoples food there's no way to know if our order was right or not. So my fiance got home and of course it was all wrong, I mean you have to have a masters degree to work there because it is just harder then any other job since nobody can get it right anymore. I called and spoke with idiotic employee who said to come back up with the food and the receipt and we will refund your money or give you a gift card. I sent my fiance up with the food & reciept to retrieve a refund. Guess what? They dont do refunds or give gift cards. So, he comes back home and I call back again for the third and then the fourth and then a fifth time and I explained to the (lady) manager over and over again what happened. Of course she apologizes to me and says they have a book and she will personally put our name in the book with a credit of $40 so when we come back we can use that credit to order our next meal from bw3's. We have since not wanted to go back there for obvious reasons. So a few months later which is today, we call to place another take out order thinking maybe it was just a one time thing. So we called to use our credit and low and behold " We don't have a credit for you." she says. All we had then was the word of a manager I thought her name was Amy but I must be crazy because she said she wasnt there at the time of our order (how would she know if she wasnt there when we dont even know when we were there. We can only estimate it was sometime in the last 7 months) so needless to say we are waiting ona call back from her to see if the GM will approve the $40 credit. So at the end of the day were -$40 and have lost faith in the educational system that supplies us with the hard workers of the toughest jobs out there in the food industry. Restraunts must have gotten harder to work at since I was last working at a restaurant. I mean they must of had to learn how to add and subtract now. Look.... now-a-days you can just order your food online. It is so hard to work at a restraunt people are getting replaced by a form on the computer. Oh how valuable the restraunt workers are. They are hard to come by and even...
Read moreWent to Massey's on I think Thursday October 10, 2024. We ordered a deep dish pizza and the Garlic Dippers. This review will mainly reflect on the Deep Dish Pizza. I cannot speak regarding the thin crust. I generally don't write about the service, because if the food is great I don't care. The service was average I guess.
The Deep Dish Pizza had so many issues. I find it hard to understand how a place dedicated to pizza doesn't understand the concept of a deep dish. The crust was maybe the thickness of a piece of cardboard. I've had thicker thin crust pizzas. I think they just put a normal amount of dough in a deep dish pan and stretched the crust to the top of the rim. The edge crust was thick, and that's about it. It was also not a traditional deep dish style crust. It was more like a pot pie crust, but no flavor. I don't think they use any butter in the crust. It was hard and airy. If that's the style they want to go for, they are going to need to season the crust. Furthermore, the crust was not caramelized at all. None of the toppings were done. Onions were raw. The pizza was so thin, when you picked it up it flopped downward, and all the toppings fell off. The dough was also raw under the cheese, but done on the edges.
To sum it up, the pizza was a disaster.
After tip one 10" with 4 toppings and garlic dunkers was about $38.00.
The garlic dunkers were actually decent, but came with almost no dipping sauce. They had a caramelized crust. The garlic dunkers should be the par to shoot for with the deep dish.
To be 100% honest, Little Caesars deep dish blows Massey's Deep Dish out of the water. Hopefully that will put things into perspective.
If you are near Graceland, DO NOT GO!!!
You are near some of the best pizza places in Columbus. Pizza House and Teritas are maybe a mile away. Cheaper and literally 100 times better.
I honestly feel like I was taken advantage of here. It was just so bad that I will never go back. They should contact Gordon over at kitchen nightmares. I don't see how they will sustain as a business charging as much as they do for such low quality.
It was like 6pm on a Thursday and they had 3 tables total, counting us. What was the rush sending out...
Read moreUPDAE- STILL ISSUES. I do find it interesting that the mnger of this page ignores reviews under 4 stars and only comments on the 5. Would have liked to express the issues with them, but when you don't take any feedback that's negative, you never learn. Deweys is much better anyway, and not that far a drive away from here. Went in at 6:42 this evening, sat down, and waited to be served. 3 other tables, all had been served and were in the process of wrapping up. Bar was a little crowded but had a bartender for them so they were being tken care of. The lady taking care of the tables could care less if she had some new customers. She made beelines for all of the other tables, going around us and saying nothing in the process. The bartender came up to her at one point and pointed at us as if to say we needed served, and still she ignored us. After 20 minutes we got up and headed for the door. She finally started to walk over and get plates, but that's the end for us. Used to love going here before covid, but now, with us being the only table in the place without service, and to be ignored as we were, leaves this time as the worst experience we...
