McDonald's — Restaurant in Columbus

This is my least favorite McDonald's location.

The location is always dirty. The decor is just downright depressing and uninviting. The food is often not good even by McDonald's standards especially if you use the drive thru. It is served cold and either has so much salt/seasoning you can't eat it or none at all and it has no flavor.

This all pales in comparison to the staff and management. There is rarely anyone at the counter to take your order because they want you to use the kiosk. That's great but my mom is vision impaired and can't use the kiosk. When you do get someone at the counter it's obvious that they are put out to be there. They never give you your drink cup and when you ask for it- they're put out. Ketchup is locked up like it's gold and when you ask for it- yep, put out.

The managers are even worse. We had a power outage about 6 weeks ago and we ordered pickup on the app. When we got there their system was down so they couldn't serve us. They also couldn't refund us or put us on a list to pick up our food the next day. Said the system would automatically refund our money because the transaction wasn't complete. Of course that didn't happen. The next day we went to talk to them once everything was back up and, once again they wouldn't give us the food or a refund. Said we had to contact the app and that the money would automatically refund. BUT the attitude this time was the nastiest interaction I've ever had with any manager EVER. If she could've opened the earth up and pitched us in she would've. Absolutely completely HATEFUL.

So now I go out of my way to go to a different location because I never did get my money back and I don't pay to get attitude even if it is...

UPDATE I have been this fast food restaurant for curbside P/U and some ppl are just rude or something... I will try write it shorter. *I waited 30 mins in my car for an ice cream cone but no one came so I headed in the restaurant and told them whats going on I was told I didn't p/u so they threw it away...FOR CURBSIDE PICKUP ORDER. *Ordered another i ce cream cone, AN INSECT was on it so I told them I want new one she said nothing no apology walked away and swiped the insect and handed to me the same cone that an insect was in... That was so disgusting!! *Ordered LARGE smoothies received size M amount lol *Ordered pumpkin pies and got apple pie packages so i called them they said inside is pumpkin pies. If they gonna do that EXPLAIN in the first place!! she was so rude on the phone even tho I was very polite to her. she even said something with very small vice I couldn't catch what she was saying so she said something after I said Thank you very much. This restaurant need a good trainer to teach them how to treat customers and do the job right.

I wanted a trex toy for my son but they only have books not actually toys. This is ripped off when they have displayed toys. If sold out say it on the display like Mcdonald's in Japan because some customers ordering happy...

If I could give zero stars I would!!! Came through the drive thru at 9:53am on Sunday for breakfast. Placed my order and went on my way. When I arrived home I noticed I was missing part of my order, and some of my order was wrong. I went back to the restaurant (which is a 3 minute drive) and asked to speak with a manager, but she wouldn't come over to speak with me. So I told the cashier my order was wrong and part was missing. At 10:18am the cashier rang in my order as a PROMO and I proceed to wait in line. At 10:35am I received my order, which was incorrect AGAIN!!! After telling them it was wrong again, and waiting longer, it's now 10:49am and I'm just now leaving. So, I wasted an hour of my morning on poor customer service! For the rude blonde female manager who was too busy and frustrated at her own staff who made the errors, shame on you!!! Absolutely the WORST McDonald's in town. You couldn't even come over and give a simple apology. There are no bad employees just bad leaders!!! I will definitely drive the couple extra minutes to go to the McDonald's across town next time!
