I think that this Noodle and Co. location is laid out and managed in a way that it is mostly accessible, given the fact that it is located in the middle of a city block. Because of its location, there is no opportunity for handicap parking, however there are such spots across Lane Ave. Upon entering, you are met with the section where the line to order forms. This area is a little bit narrow, as is the area in front of the cashiers where you order. However, after ordering, the rest of the floor plan is mostly open. This can accommodate wheelchairs, canes, seeing-eye dogs, and other assistive tools and technology. There is plenty of bench seating, as well as ample room at most tables to pull up a wheelchair. There is an upstairs section of seating that requires going up a staircase, but there is ample seating on the ground floor. There are no strong smells in the restaurant aside from the smell of food being cooked, nor is there any particularly loud noise. In fact, the only noise in the restaurant comes from the kitchen. This location also has bright enough lighting to see, however the lighting isn't overly bright - some tables have brighter lighting while others are dimmer. There are two exits at this location: one is the same door used for entry, and the other leads to an outdoor seating area. The entrance, as previously stated, is a little bit narrow. The second door that leads to the seating area is unobscured, however it might be difficult to maneuver once outside due to the placement of the outdoor seating and the rail separating the outdoor dining area from the sidewalk. Overall, I was satisfied with the stamdards of accessibility shown in this location. While there are a few things that seemed like they could be improved, it is hard for me to judge exactly what challenges (if any) the layout of this restaurant would present to a customer with...
Read moreI ate a delicious supper yesterday [8-23-2022] at Noodles and Company [or Noodles World Kitchen] at 2124 N. High St. [in the "University District" neighborhood of Columbus].
I had been planning to attend a concert later that evening at University Baptist Church [less than a block away] so I decided to eat at Noodles World Kitchen on my way to the concert.
Yesterday had been the first day of classes at The Ohio State University so the streets and sidewalks in the campus area had been extremely crowded; however, the Noodles World Kitchen at 2124 N. High St. had not been at all crowded. The service had been friendly, helpful, and efficient.
After studying the menu on the wall [the menu above the ordering counter had been too difficult for me to read because of the small font size but there is, thankfully, another option for reading the menu], I decided to order "Wisconsin Mac & Cheese," which is the traditional "macaroni and cheese" ["elbow macaroni" with cheese sauce] topped with [several different flavors of] shredded cheese.
After I had ordered and had found a table, I started to walk around the restaurant so that I would be able to take some photographs for Google Maps. My meal arrived very quickly, two or three minutes after I had ordered, before I had finished taking photographs.
The building where this Noodles World Kitchen is located is extremely interesting because it has two floors [the second-floor eating area is accessed by a tall metal staircase]; they even have an outdoor eating area that is accessible from their [inside] second-floor eating area.
The food at this Noodles World Kitchen is as delicious as it is at the other locations of Noodles World Kitchen; I strongly recommend that location if you happen to be in the...
Read moreMissing items and wrong items in the order after ordering delivery through the app. Ordered a small Pesto Cavatapi with no veggies and was given a large with veggies. Also ordered a side Mac and cheese which was missing. There were two drinks ordered, a regular minute maid lemonade and a large Dr pepper. Neither were in our order, and the drink we did receive was a regular coke. There was no slip/receipt on the bag, so there is no proof of employees checking the accuracy of the order. Overall, the entire order was wrong, and usually, my experiences with noodles and company are excellent, so i am highly dissatisfied and...
