5-Star Review for Pasqualone’s Italian Restaurant ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Oh, Pasqualone’s – where do I even begin? This isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a heartfelt slice of Italy right in our backyard, wrapped in the warmth of family and unforgettable flavors. Every visit feels like stepping into the Pasqualone family’s own home, where owners David and Lori (and the incredible Chef David himself) greet you with genuine smiles, kindness, and that infectious Italian hospitality that makes you feel instantly at ease. They’re the kind of people who turn a simple meal into cherished memories with whoever you’re sharing the table with – friends, family, or that special someone. It’s pure magic! The food? One-of-a-kind perfection that you’ll dream about long after you’ve left. Let’s start with the apps, because you have to dive in here: The Antipasto is a vibrant explosion of fresh, authentic tastes that sets the tone for the whole evening. Then there are the Mussels in White Wine Sauce – tender, garlicky bliss swimming in that savory broth (don’t forget the crusty bread to sop it up!). And the meatballs? Whether classic or stuffed, they’re juicy, flavorful orbs of comfort that melt in your mouth. Chef’s kiss every time! For entrees, Pasqualone’s truly shines with dishes that elevate Italian cuisine to art. The Veal Marsala is a tender, wine-infused masterpiece, rich and elegant without being overpowering. The Stuffed Veal Chop is another standout – hearty, flavorful, and stuffed with goodness that makes it feel indulgent yet homey. If you’re in the mood for poultry, the Chicken Picasso is a creative twist that’s bright, zesty, and absolutely addictive. And don’t sleep on the steak specials! That blackened bone-in ribeye with the blue cheese sauce? It’s bold, creamy, and seared to perfection – a carnivore’s dream that leaves you savoring every bite. Pair it all with their fantastic wine selection; my absolute favorite is the red Masi Costasera Amarone – smooth, velvety, and the perfect companion to these dishes. It’s like the wine was made for this menu! But save room for dessert, because you cannot leave without indulging in their homemade cannolis. They’re crispy, creamy, and drizzled with a hint of their special liquor glaze that takes them over the top – to die for! Pro tip: Eat one right there to savor the freshness, and grab two more to take home. Or if you’re feeling citrusy, their limoncello-infused options are a refreshing, yummy finale that’ll have you smiling all night. What sets Pasqualone’s apart is the experience: Eat a little, drink a little, let dinner unfold slowly with lively conversation, surrounded by amazing food and even better people. It’s unhurried, soul-nourishing dining that transports you straight to Italy. David and Lori, you’re legends – thank you for creating this gem. I can’t say enough good things; we’ll be back soon (and often)! If you haven’t been, go now – your taste buds (and heart) will thank...

If you haven't heard of this little hidden gem, I highly recommend getting a reservation as soon as yesterday.

I came in with dignity. Left in a food-induced stupor. First up, a classic Italian antipasto plate. The plate that started it all (And by 'all' I mean my downfall) They brought out this appetizer like it was no big deal — just a casual mountain of fresh mozzarella, prosciutto, and green apples casually drizzled in balsamic glaze, as if I wasn’t about to lose all self-control in front of polite society. The mozzarella was so creamy I briefly considered using it as a moisturizer. The prosciutto? Paper-thin slices of salty betrayal, wrapping themselves lovingly around my willpower.

My meal, a rolled veal chop with mushroom marsala cream sauce over penne — which, frankly, was so good I considered calling my therapist about it. Tender, juicy, drenched in sauce like it had just finished a soap opera crying scene. I would fight a bear for another bite.

Heather ordered these little stuffed pasta purses — because apparently, the chef enjoys personally attacking her self-control. Tiny pasta bags of joy, each one filled with happiness, carbs, and future poor decisions.

To wash down all the emotions? A Blackberry Bourbon Smash that tasted like summer had a one-night stand with a whiskey barrel. A Lemon Blueberry Martini that was so dangerously smooth, I briefly thought I was a professional dancer.

At this point, I’m convinced this restaurant is a trap. A delicious, buttery, soul-satisfying trap. 10/10 would let them ruin...

My family was lucky enough to have been introduced to Pasqualone’s back in 1993 when it first opened and we’ve been enjoying special dinners here ever since. This is as close to my nonna’s cooking as I’ve had and every time we visit, it brings back wonderful memories of being told to “magia!” mangia!” in her small Italian kitchen and mangia bene you will at Pasqualone’s! We’re always treated just like family by David and Lori, the owners, and the servers - Chris and Matt and anyone we’ve enjoyed in the past are gracious extremely gracious hosts. They really do cater to every detail and the service is always ON. This isn’t just the best Italian food in Columbus, but absolutely one of the top overall restaurants as well. We grew up going here on special occasions and continue to do so, and every time we visit it’s memorable. The antipasto platter is every bit as good as ones we had in Italy and the five Italian meats and cheese is imported from there so it’s not a surprise. There is an excellent selection of wine and almost always a surprise cocktail, sometimes with homemade limoncello, that they’ve worked up that is worth getting a second or third! If you visit with a group, you must go with a family style meal so you can try different dishes. David and his team will take excellent care of you, and your night will be one to remember. We love this place and all the memories we’ll continue to enjoy...

This is a truly remarkable restaurant with fantastic food and excellent service! I reserved a table for 4 by calling their phone and leaving a voicemail. I also sent a message via their web site. Later the same day the owner/chef, David, called me back and also replied to my mail confirming the reservation. Very nice personal touch! I immediately liked the place even before eating there. When I arrived with my family, David personally met and greeted us, stepping out from his kitchen. We then were seated in a cozy room, and got introduced to a vast variety of day's special meals by a gentleman who knew all these dishes by hart. By the time he finished describing all the dishes, we already forgot half of them! Then we were given menus and after consultations with the server we chose to order an antipasto (mixed meats, cheeses, tomatoes and olives), a lasagna, a veal loaf, and a fettuchini alfredo. Everything was superb: fresh and delicious! We tried each others' dishes and could not decide what was best - they all were fantastic! We also had a sorbet, a tiramisu, a cannoli and cappuccino for desert. In the end we were absolutely happy that we chose to visit Pasqualone's. We'll definitely come back soon!

This was a girls night out-except one tiny 8 week old boy was allowed to dine with us. My daughter-in-law and a 3 year old accompanied me for a fun night of fine dining. The atmosphere was dark and romantic and made for a special night for our little princess. We had lobster ravioli, a layered meat lasagna wtih fettuccine alfredo as one of the layers-oh yeah-fabulous. The dessert was orange sorbetto served in a frozen orange, every 3 year old's delight. Finished with a great coffee, made perfectly. When we stopped by the kitchen to say thanks to Chef, he asked her what the fav part of the meal was and of course she said the buttered noodles! Life is good for these girls dining out at Pasqualone's in Columbus Ohio.
