Cyndi, Randy and Ben are spot on. Weak. Very weak. That's my triple mocha. I thought it was a 'one off' when I was in here a month ago and got a yes, weak very weak, mocha at that time, but after giving it 2 more shots (no pun intended), the verdict is in. This Starbucks is weak. My triple mocha doesn't even taste like it has a single shot of espresso. As soon as I sat down and got a mouthful of steamed milk, I went up and asked if she gave 3 shots....'yeah!' she snapped back. Yeah right. No offer to add more. No interest in my satisfaction. Well, everyone's accountable and this is where the rub happens. Now I understand why this place is empty on a Friday night. I've been to most of the Starbucks in this northwest/Dublin corridor and this is the WORST. Not only do they hoard the espresso but the barristas need to grow up. They act like a bunch of teenagers....but they're not. Oh, and the black one keeps coming over to the table beside me and giving freebies to her friend. At last count, she's given her a scone, a brownie and now a coffee. I know these are unpaid for because the woman at the receiving end has not left her seat to go up and order. So do yourself a HUGE favor and find another Starbucks! Or better yet, the first time you come in here, do a test and order your drink with 15 extra shots. Theoretically, that should make the drink overflow and spill all over the barrista regardless of how much steamed milk is in it. If she hands you a perfectly dry cup that doesn't look wilted,....busted. And like someone else mentioned, the parking is hysterical. Oh, I forgot to mention (probably suppressed this unconsciously for the sake of psychological preservation), there was blood all over the toilet...
Read moreThe drive through lines are always long, but tended to well. Parking is always packed and it's a tight squeeze past the drive-thru line to get to the spots in the rear of the store.
Inside, the store is large with plenty of seating, though electrical outlets are only against one wall. It's clean and well kept, and warm in the winter thanks to the double doored entrance. When a customer uses the side entrance, however, you're met with a frigid gust of air as it's only a single door.
The staff is friendly and attentive. Bryce learned my name only after one visit, which is impressive for how busy they were when I came in. Both bathrooms are now unisex which is fine, but confusing as they have yet to update their signs. The staff will be explaining that throughout the day for many customers until that's resolved.
Their retail products seem well-stocked with some good sales in play. Music is loud enough to be heard but not overly bearing where conversation cannot be had. The WiFi is fast and stable, though this means multiple squatters during peak hours, so powered seating may need to be claimed as quickly as you see a spot open up.
Overall, this is a great standalone store and I have no problems coming back whenever I need more Verismo pods or for a...
Read moreThis location is ok. It's the people that make it fantastic!! Kayla, Maci and Lori make the place your morning pep stop. Amazing team! I have to, I must, mention a Starbucks super STAR...Brittany!! I don't know where nor how she has such awesome beautiful energy. You will have an excellent Starbucks experience if you meet Brittany. Yes she makes the perfect cup of coffee, yes she makes the best white chocolate mocha hot or iced, but what Brittany gives each guest is a dose of " we are glad you came", meeting her makes the coffee, hell makes the day BETTER!! I actually saw her working at another Starbucks, and she made the environment so much better...her positive energy is contagious. You walk in like a zombie and you walk out with a little smile on your face. Brittany embodies the Starbucks spirit. Even when she is probably having a bad day, she never makes a bad cup of coffee nor gives a bad experience. I have sent a letter to headquarters because they need to know people like her keep customers coming, even when the store is out of expresso (that has happened before)...we keep coming back to hear Brittany say "welcome". She is an asset to that location, to the company and...
