We arrived during lunch, and we were pleased to be served quickly in spite of a moderate crowd. Portions were *huge*. The Vietnamese salad roll was full of fresh, very thinly julienned vegetables which added a nice crunch. It was tightly rolled, and the plum sauce was a rich complement. It could have used more noodles, but it really was delicious. We got two orders of chicken pad Thai, which could've easily served four regular eaters. Each of us brought home dinner. 🙂 We won't object! The noodles were perfectly cooked, the sauce was delicious, with the proper balance of sweet and hot, and the chicken was so tenderly shaved and cooked! My only issue was that the dish could have used more bean sprouts. *None* of these issues took away from the overall rating of this restaurant for us -- we really liked it! Our table was clean, the atmosphere was modern, the staff were superb, the portions were enormous, the food was delicious, and the cost was surprisingly affordable!

2022: Most prices are now around $14.50 and up for the dinner portions. Most food is now 50% more expensive. Please bring your pasta dishes back to a realistic $9.50. You guys used to beat all the Asian food places in Columbus but now your prices are completely out of budget!

2021 - Present: 0/5 stars! Prices need to drop $3 for all meals! Too expensive now to buy a meals regularly! I went from 2 meals a week and now I am only ordering 1 time a month or less! Please bulk buy more of your ingredients so prices can go back to $8 /Meal so I can stop shopping at grocery stores and go back to my regular routine!

2019 - Present: Pandemic destroyed the low pricing for high quality freshly cooked food! Prices used to be $7.99 but are now almost $12! I used to buy 3 meals every 2 weeks like clockwork! Now I cannot afford to come here more than once every 3 months! Go back to low pricing! Americans are on an extremely tight budget!!!! 0 Stars until fixed!

2009 - 2018:This place used to be for many years a 5/5 stars BUT now it's a 2 star at best! The 2 chefs (extremely unprofessional, are discriminatory, and laugh behind customers backs) will have no problem skimping your take out portion sizes! The black take out containers used to be filled edge to edge, top to bottom, BUT now they (skimp it almost 50% in portion size). They tie the plastic bag up at the top so MAKE SURE you open the bag up and check that the containers are filled with food. After 2008 - 2011 economic crash, this company has greatly decreased in customer satisfaction and quality. I even have family of MUSLIM decent and they won't eat here because the chefs (same two little guys in front of huge woks) put bones inside his food! HALAL standards of cleanliness clearly have not been taken into consideration when preparing the 2 meals. I am spreading the word about this place and you will LOSE long term customers due to running your establishment in such a shady manner! I have witnessed many other customers not happy with the portion sizes and lack of consistency in how the meals are cooked (noodles taste dry, low on turmeric or oils, poor moisture food management control, discrepancies in pricing or...

If you're hunting for authentic Chinese food in Columbus, let's be real, it’s a tough find. But if you're open to Americanized Chinese fare with generous portions and a steady local following, this place definitely delivers.

I stopped by recently to meet up with a relative, and while I waited in the parking lot, I noticed a constant stream of people picking up takeout orders. That alone was a good first sign, it’s always a promising sign when a place has a loyal crowd coming and going.

Once inside, I was pleased to see plenty of seating available. The dining area is spacious enough to host groups, which is key because the portion sizes here are family-style large, exactly what I’ve come to expect (and honestly love) from a solid Chinese restaurant. This place encourages sharing around the table, which brings a more communal, traditional feel to the meal.

As for the food itself? It hits the spot. While it’s definitely on the Americanized side (General Tso’s, egg rolls, sweet-and-sour everything, etc), the flavors were enjoyable, and everything came out fresh and hot. It’s not aiming for street food authenticity, but for Columbus standards, it gets the job done and does it well.

The steady flow of diners throughout our visit made it clear this place is a neighborhood staple. Whether you're grabbing a quick takeout dinner or sitting down with family for a casual meal, you'll walk away full and satisfied.

Not the most "authentic" Chinese food you’ll find, but hearty portions, decent flavor, and clear community love make this place worth...

I’ve been a regular at Tai’s for 10+ years. Food is great, portion size is large. However, customer service experience is AWFUL. Friday, July 25th I ordered two entrees and one sushi roll to-go. When I came for pick up, I asked the lady if everything was in my bag. She said yes. I drive home 25 minutes and the sushi roll was not there. I immediately call, and let them know coming back to the store tonight was not an option. They “supposedly” wrote my name “in the book” and I had two weeks to redeem. Not ideal with a week vacation coming up, but whatever. I called tonight, 8/7, and let them know I’m trying to redeem my free sushi roll. After 15 minutes on the phone, they can’t find my name in the book because they were looking for orders placed TODAY, when I clearly said I ordered almost two weeks ago. I am now at the store, so walk inside and the one KID tells me if your name isn’t in the book, there’s nothing they can do. He also told me I was over my two weeks grace period, even though today was only 13 days out….. Very dismissive, did not care to be helpful. I show my virtual receipt of where I ordered the roll, further explain, also let them know a manager was supposed to call me but never did….. this was an awful experience, they made me feel like it was my fault, very dismissive, kids running the front calling each other “bro” and not professional. Sad to say, but probably won’t be coming...
