Scramblers — Restaurant in Columbus

I used to love this place and their service. However in light of recent events myself and my family will no longer come to this particular establishment. That is thanks to Wally (the manager) and one of his employees (a female server). One of his employees was, and is, in the wrong for their actions in how they used my mother’s card information, and Wally here thought it was a great idea to have the worlds nastiest attitude with my mother simply because she called and brought it to his attention. Well Wally thanks for the attitude rather than doing your actual job as a manger, and as a reward for your lovely attitude and sharp tongue, you can read this review and now know that this has gone now above your head and your attitude may cost you your job. Also, I didn’t forget about your server , the authorities will be handling her. Hope you both enjoy hot water , because you have both put yourself in some with your actions as of late with the company that Employs you both. So to anyone reading this, either pay cash at this location or don’t go, your card information isn’t safe there in the hands of some of the servers, and the management turns a blind eye to their actions when someone realizes it. Service was excellent, however the food was awful.I have dined here several times before the pandemic. It was our favorite breakfast spot, but today changed that. Avocado omelette had Brown avocado in it. There were so many green peppers it was overwhelming. And the hash browns tasted like a dirty griddle was used to cook them. I was very disappointed because I go to this restaurant specifically for this omelette. Our server I'm sorry I don't remember her name was wonderful she did everything she could to accommodate us and even tried to get a manager but being in the service industry myself I didn't want to embarrass her or put the manager on the spot by having a one-on-one conversation so I decided to leave this review to let you know that the food was not good even my daughter complained that the pancakes tasted like they were cooked on a griddle that hadn't been cleaned . MANY restaurants have come and gone on Sancus, but this joint perseveres, and rightly so, I could eat breakfast here every day for the rest of my life.

It’s one thing to have a good meal, but consistency is something rare these days. Lived in Columbus for years, moved south in 2018. Ate here today and it’s just as great as we remembered!

Spicy Baja Burrito… it’s a beast! Can’t stand to waste food so I eat myself into a food coma trying to finish this monster, especially good with the loaded potato chunks!

Crab Cake Benny is legit! Don’t deny yourself this seafood specialty made with blue crab, especially with a dash of Tobasco or Frank’s Red Hot!

Eye Opener… Usually afraid of avocado unless I cut it myself, you can trust Scrambler’s to serve the freshest avocado you’ll find in a restaurant.
