Torrid — Local services in Columbus

I always have a great experience here. Staff are always helpful. When there are several different people working they all ask if you need assistance or need a dressing room multiple times which is kind of annoying. I know that’s what they’re supposed to do but it can feel uncomfortable after awhile. Like.. maybe I DO need help and I didn’t even know it lol.

I usually prefer to shop online and then have the clothes delivered to the store for free. A couple times I had ordered pants or something I wasn’t sure would fit me so they opened my package and let me try it on there and I ended up having to return them. With no issues of course. I like that there’s more selection online but I do like to pickup my packages in store and then look around. Some of the stuff online looks different in person so I do like seeing it in the store if I was unsure about it online. Definitely my favorite store. I shop at to torrid all the time. Literally most of my pants are from torrid and I think that it’s ridiculous that when you come into shop and literally have an arm full of clothes which if I purchased would total hundreds of dollars that when I say I have to pee, you can’t even let me use the restroom. I have to put my clothes down and go next-door to the women’s clothing store Lane Bryant to use the restroom. I will never shop at this location again. it’s clear to me that you could care less if you sell anything in the store location at all otherwise you wouldn’t be turning away paying customers just because they can’t use the restroom in your location. I give 2 stars because the clothes are cute. However, where did you find these rude, arrogant, gossipy, lazy and nasty employees that work in the store? IF and I mean IF they had a name tag on, it was turned around or hidden. They were making rude comments about me and other women shopping as they stood around and talked, not working at all. One comment was..." We sale plus size clothes but we dont sale circus tents". Then they giggled. I'm not sure who the comment was about.I left the fitting room empty handed, told them they were very rude and unprofessional and I walked out!
