Looking for another food option at the Citadel Outlets food court, which accepts the Citadel Outlets gift card as payment, I turned my attention to Charleys Philly Steaks. I like a good cheese steak now & again, so let's see if Charleys can satisfy this customer.

Prime BBQ Cheesesteak (additional $1)- Steak, bacon, onions, provolone, crispy onions, jalapenos & BBQ sauce. A substantial sandwich, unbeknownst to me, I didn't know the Prime BBQ Cheesesteak is supposed to come with jalapenos, as mine did not. Also, I would've asked for no BBQ sauce, as I avoid that sugary substance. Despite that, ample amounts of bacon & steak came accompanied by fresh pickles, tomatoes & lettuce. Messy to eat, but filling & good, I ate my meal for sustenance after a bit of power shopping at the Citadel Outlets.

Service was fine. The cashier had to ask the manager about ringing up the gift card. It was a short wait before my sandwich was ready & I was digging into it at a table I claimed.

Charleys Philly Steaks stepped up to the plate with a respectable meal. As I don't usually order chicken, I didn't go for the $5.99 Chicken Philly & Fries combo. But, I do recognize that's a good deal for customers, and if I were to visit again, I'm tempted by their Bacon 3 Cheesesteak and/or Grilled Deli Phillys,...

I’m happy this place is near my work because you can order hot sandwiches. They have a lot of different kinds and you can take off some ingredients you don’t like. This place is located within the Citadel Outlets food court. There is plenty of parking in the lots or the structures. The staff is quick to take your order. It does get packed during the lunch rush, so you have to wait a while to get your food. They have condiments available like seasonings for the fries, salt & pepper, and ketchup. I just wish they would put the little packets of mustard, mayonnaise, and ketchup on the side too. I know the workers are busy giving out the orders, so you have to wait to ask for condiments to go. I ordered the Italian Deluxe regular which is a whole sub cut in half. It comes with turkey, ham, pepperoni, and provolone cheese. The sandwich is dressed with pickles, tomatoes, lettuce, and mayo. I love Philly cheesesteak very much even traveling to Philly to get some the best Philly cheesesteak around. My wife and I have been to Charley's Cheesesteak around L.A. they make a pretty good cheesesteak but you have to travel to Philly to get a real one. We went to the Citadel to shop after we finished shopping we were hungry then we decided to go to Charley's cheesesteak in the court yard at the Citadel.

We look at the menu we decided to order my wife order the chicken cheesesteak combo and I decided to order the Philly cheesesteak. They cook the food at no time the food was then they call our number I pick up our food. I took a bit of my Philly cheesesteak it was really good flavors including the meat but cheese was so cheesy that's the way I like it. The fries were pretty good.
