Hawthorne's NY Pizza and Bar Concord — Restaurant in Concord

First of all we love Hawthornes and we decided to go to your Harrisburg location. We got there and found out it was closed. We ended up deciding to go ahead and drive all the way to your concord location. We decided to sit outside and waited maybe 10 minuted with no service. Finally a waiter came out and instead of helping us they ended up helping another table that was sat after us. He went back in and came back out saying apparently he was supposed to be helping the entire patio and offered to get us drinks. He was walking away before even offering if we wanted an appetizer which we did and we ordered. We all ordered individual 9 inch pies and on the sicilian we said no hot honey. The elizabeth was sub olives for mushrooms. We ended up getting 2 off the pizzas to come out but the third which was for my mom ( we were celebrating early for mothers day) took another 10 minutes to come out. It was def underdone. And we kept tasting something sweet on the sicilian. It had honey on the crust. Long story short we were very dissapointed with the service and quality of the food we were given. We eat here occasionally and it has been a great place to go. We were initially sat in a booth and had ordered an appetizer and drinks. Friends decided to join us at the last minute. We asked another waitress if the kids could sit at the bar so the adults could stay at the booth and she said that they could do that. The manager then came over and said that the three open bar stools were reserved for their “regulars” who stay there until 10. It was 8:30 pm and the bar stools were empty. She also said there was a 30 minute wait but there were open tables and not a single customer at the front door. The manager moved us to a larger table that had been sitting empty, which was nice but a server never came over, EVER. We waited over 45 minutes and not one person came over. I talked to another waiter and he said there were only 2 waiters and the manager had left. There were about 5 other employees standing by the hostess station talking. I am the Founder/Executive Director of Mint to Be of the Carolinas, a non-profit organization in Concord, NC.
