Asian BBQ & Grill — Restaurant in Conroe

Doesn't look like much from the outside, but this "hole in the wall" has some great food. Nice atmosphere, clean place. Perfect for an informal lunch or a romantic dinner. Do you have trouble finding the perfect food on exotic menus? So did I, but never again at this place! My daughter picked out "Imperial Rolls and Pork." I was a little nervous at first- pork? What if it wasn't cooked well? Or came out gross? So many things could go wrong. And I had ordered outside my comfort zone of my usual tried and true. Nevertheless, our order came in a GIANT bowl. We split it and it was MORE than enough for two. It was an amazing bowl with fresh, crispy salad on one side. Perfectly cooked noodles on the other. Crunchy peices of lightly breaded pork cut up and scattered over the bowl. Some kind of crunchy (egg?) roll was also cut up neatly into about 4 peices in the bowl as well. The whole thing came with some kind of light dressing: kind of like a mildly sweet vinaigrette. I don't know what else to compare it to, but it was amazing poured over the contents if the whole bowl and did not make it soggy! I WILL be returning and next time I'll want the WHOLE BOWL for myself! I also only saw one gentleman working but the service was great. This might be a new favorite. Can't wait to...

The food and flavors here are nice. It all seems fresh with the exception of the meat. I usually get chicken and it is usually over cooked. Tastes as though it may have been cooked a day or two in advance I have visited this place several times, but throughout the years I have noticed a gradual decline in the cleanliness. This place is certainly not what most people would call clean. I have always taken my food to go but I couldn’t imagine sitting down to eat. There are random electronics stored on the front counter; an old speaker, a large tv, an old keyboard. The entire left wing of the restaurant is clearly being used as a storage unit for surplus commercial furniture, and household items. It’s just not possible to keep a place clean when you’ve got that much stuff packed in there. The area that is meant for guest seating is carpeted, with mix matches furniture. Some office tables and office computer chairs that they must’ve gotten on sale. The man that works here is friendly and courteous. The woman usually eyes me suspiciously. I just gotta say this is the most delightful scrumptious-to-the-ditily-umptious place to eat. The shabby building truly reminds you of home. It’s like the building itself is telling you to just relax and be yourself and it’s such a different experience to dining anywhere else. I have social anxiety and hate restraunts but this place is quiet and so welcoming. And did I mention how good the food is cause dayummmm bro it’s actually delicious, like you can’t go wrong with anything here. Every meal taste authentic and yummy and idc how many people hate on the building I personally love it. The staff is so amazing and fun to talk to it’s like they pour their souls into each dish.
