This is THE worst managed DQ I have ever visited and I am 60. There is zero leadership in the way of a manger and the cooks do q poor job of managing their time and cooking the food. The employees complain they are understaffed, but other FF restaurants can run very efficiently with the same number of employees. Their problem is time management and speed. There was 1 taking drive thru orders, 1 making the sweet treats (doing a great job), 2 short order cooks (doing a terrible job), 1 working inside counter and 1 that really had no purpose other than to shuffle very slowly taking 1 bag at a time from the kitchen to the window (about 5 feet). We were the 3rd car in line and after 15 minutes of not moving, we went inside. There were about 6 customers inside. I thought maybe the person that had been waiting at the window all this time must have ordered 10 burgers or something. Nope. They finally took the order to the window and it was 1 small bag. Our ice cream treats had been made and were sitting in this freezer holding section and had melted. They had to remake them. So, if we waiting at the window, would they have given us melted ice cream? This is wasting $$. This tells me the kitchen is not organized and keeping up with the cooking. In other words, you need to know when you are getting low, time to put in another batch of fries. Put more patties on the grill, more chicken tenders in the fryer, etc. We we originally pulled up, we were the 3rd car. When we left, there were probably 15-20 cars total, 2 lanes deep at the drive thru. Those people were going to be waiting an hour for food easily. There is clearly a lack of training at this store as evidenced by the one employee meandering between the kitchen and the window and occasionally putting an order in a bag. Whoever opened this store apparently knows nothing about running a FF restaurant. I...
Read moreIt’s just a Dairy Queen.
So don’t get your hopes up.
All I wanted was a Blizzard.
They took my order and my money.
I waited and waited for my Blizzard.
If they had been busy, I would have understood and shown more patience. But they weren’t busy, at least not with customers. They were only busy standing around looking bored or chatting with each other.
I went to the trouble of standing at the counter looking like I wanted the Blizzard I had already ordered and paid for.
That didn’t work.
I was still roundly ignored.
Finally, I asked whether there was a Blizzard anywhere in my future. The counter help looked a little surprised by my question and asked another employee in the back about the status of my Blizzard.
They hadn’t even begun to prepare it (and there’s really not a whole lot of preparation required for a Blizzard).
That was all I needed to hear.
I told them to forget it and that they could keep the $5 I had already paid.
I was really just afraid how long I would have to wait for them to figure out how to refund my money.
It would not have been worth the added aggravation.
If you’re really in the mood for a Blizzard, try Fargo, North Dakota.
As for the moronic team currently working at this Dairy Queen, I hold no grudges and wish them well. I’m sure they will all enjoy successful and exhilarating careers retrieving the shopping carts from grocery store parking lots and taking them...

She took my order at 8:30p.m. and very rudely informed me that I had to exit the restaurant at 8:50p.m. (20 minutes). Although the door clearly reads this Dairy Queen dining area is open until 9:00p.m.. One does not take an order, receive payment for the order and then tell you you must exit the restaurant in twenty minutes, it took more than ten minutes to get the order. Counter person was very snobby. She brought my order to my table and simply dropped the tray of food onto the table without a word. She did not place it on the table, she literally dropped it onto the table. The experience was horrible. 8:50p.m. I was asked to exit the store. Dining room which was supposed to be open until 9:00p.m.. She closed the dining room early. She had the floors wet when we entered from mopping, there were no wet floor sign out. I felt I was detected by this young lady whether it was my race, handicap, or she simply did not want to take another order. Whatever the reason, I should not have had to pay for the experience! I will not EVER enter this establishment again. Although I am most unhappy with this young lady, I do not blame her. MANAGEMENT IS...
