Talavera Coffee — Restaurant in Conroe

The coffee was not good at all And there was a hair on the side of my cup.. no gloves didn’t look sanitary at all. It was super unprofessional. A guy had his baby/ toddler there and was taking care of his baby and at the same time as handling and Serving beverages. I honestly didn’t want the coffee after seeing that he was handling a child and then handling our drinks no gloves or hand washing ( he came out of a back room after slightly opening the door to tell us one moment while he was on the floor would look like changing the child’s diaper ). When he came back out, The toddler kept on coming back out to with like baby furniture. I’m not really sure.. But we felt bad and just paid for the drinks anyways. We tried our coffees and they were really, really tasteless, but then I noticed that there was a hair on the side of my cup and we ended up throwing them away. I would never get a coffee from this place I don’t know where his hands have been Or why he’s been touching or why he doesn’t...

Can’t wait to return to Conroe and visit Talavera Coffee. Talavera is a coffee counter inside a lovely boutique shop in downtown Conroe. What I love about this place is the medium light roast espresso. I ordered a vanilla latte and a vanilla flat white. I recommend a flat white to really enjoy the flavor of the espresso. The owners are lovey and are passionate about coffee and they roast their own beans. Look at the crema shining through. The boutique also sells delicious pastries. We had an iced dirty chai and iced caramel machiatto on a Saturday morning while shopping at The Collective. We loved our drinks and returned again the following Saturday. It's our new favorite coffee/tea place. We highly recommend it! The service is extraordinary as well. The most friendly and engaging encounter. Check it out and support this local family business.
