Galavants Coffee — Restaurant in Conroe

Galavants Coffee is a one of a kind coffee shop, I first found it while cruising down downtown Conroe. The owner gave me the impression of a no-nonsense, hardworking individual. I decided that a classic drink would be the best option to test the caliber of quality and effort of this business.

I asked for a Cappuccino, I was rewarded with a drink that had beautiful Latte art. It did not burn my mouth, yet it was hot enough to be quite enjoyable. The taste of my Cappuccino was delightful and since then, I have not been able to find anything like it anywhere else.

The location and the decorations are well thought out. They portray a cozy atmosphere where you can sit down and lose track of time with your friends.

Overall, the service was top notch. As the owner made my coffee, I noticed great attention to detail. A precision that is only seen when a person loves what he does.

I’ve been going to Galavants for awhile now, and it’s the most amazing place with the most delicious coffee!! I introduced two of my girlfriends to it and it has now become their favorite coffee shop as well. I usually try new places, but this has so quickly become my go to and you will most always find me here. I’m also a flight attendant working out of state but every time I come back to Texas I make it a point to go here. It’s what I look forward to the most when I’m flying and exhausted and just ready to be home. Highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to check out a wonderful, local coffee shop in the Conroe area.

Outstanding coffee. The owner runs a one-man operation in a little space hidden behind an antique store. Nice patio to sit and enjoy your drink.

He is very friendly and takes pride in his craft. You can tell the ingredients are of high quality. I was indecisive between two drinks as it was my first time there. He recommended the Okinawan Brown Sugar Latte. Great coffee and perfect amount of sweetness. Can’t wait to try all the flavors.

P.S. I was shocked when I tapped my card and the owner didn’t turn his iPad to me. No pressure to leave a tip. If you do want to leave something, I suggest bringing a dollar or two :) Please go and support this...
