Upon researching close places for quick take-out, Eat Greek caught our attention offering a delightful escape into the flavors of Greece with the convenience and speed that modern diners appreciate. Prepared in a mere 20 minutes, our takeout experience from Eat Greek was a seamless blend of efficiency and excellence, proving that a journey to the heart of Greek gastronomy is only a phone call away.
We started with the Greek Fries -- crispy fries topped with melted Feta cheese and a dash of Greek seasonings. These fries were a great change-up, embodying the zest of Greek cuisine, but slightly too heavy with Feta for my personal preference.
The Calamari followed suit, tender and perfectly fried, capturing the essence of the Aegean Sea. It was a reminder that simplicity can easily take center stage. The Moussaka, with its rich layers of eggplant, seasoned ground beef, and potatoes, all beautifully topped with a decadent béchamel sauce, was a hearty nod to the depth and complexity of Greek culinary tradition, comfort food that warms the soul.
In the realm of sandwiches, the Lamb-Beef Gyro was a hero, combining succulent ground lamb-beef gyro with fresh tomatoes, onions, and fries, all wrapped in a soft pita and generously smeared with spicy tzatziki sauce. It was a harmonious blend of textures and flavors with a tiny kick of heat, showcasing the art of the perfect gyro.
The skewers, both Chicken and Shrimp, offered a lighter yet equally satisfying option. Served with all the fixings--pita bread, tzatziki sauce, fresh tomatoes, onions, a crisp Greek salad, and fries--these skewers were a testament to the versatility and freshness that Greek cuisine is known for.
While our experience at Eat Greek was through the lens of takeout, the quality and flavor of the food transported us to a sunny Grecian patio in spirit. The restaurant's commitment to delivering tasty and quickly prepared meals underscores the essence of true Greek hospitality, even from afar.
Overall, for those seeking a taste of Greece served with both warmth and efficiency, Eat Greek is a journey worth taking, promising satisfaction and a touch of Mediterranean sunshine with...
Read moreNot sure who writes these glowing reviews, but something isn't right or standards are pretty low in Conshohocken. Over the years, we learned that, and should have remembered before we ventured over the bridge once again.
Walk past the neat EAT GREEK sign overhead and go through the place It's a frikken DIVE. Building is ancient and it shows. Walls are filthy with years of dirt. It looks like a kitchen was thrown in an engine repair shop . Floor is disgusting. Bathroom falling apart. The faucet is covered in something odd and hanging by a thread. There are better restrooms in back of old supermarkets or gas stations. No toilet paper or paper towels. Did somehow have soap. But overall, everything in this place is totally unsanitary Dining area is like an old dank basement with a failed sump pump.Repurposed some old cabinets that got caught in the Johnstown flood. They even have the rot in case you think i'm exaggerating. Who puts that in a restaurant??The food is absolutely the WORST "Greek" food ever.First time ever I had a grease soaked pita served on a piece of grease soaked paper.. Dried out, reheated frozen spinach pie, nasty meat, fries cooked in old oil, and EVERYTHING is horribly over-spiced, likely to cover the taste of decomposition. This place needs to be closed down Their concern is NOT your safety. It's only about getting the $$ and hopefully making...

We tried the lamb and beef gryros and their fries with feta cheese. The meat is thin sliced and delicious. We also had the chicken skewers. Aso their Spanakopita which is very filling and excellant. The Tyroafteri dip was very good and if you like Tzatziki sauce they have that also and as every greek restaurant has my favorite Baklava. Everything we had was delicious and the service was great.
