If your diet is restricted to plant based (Vegan) don't come here. Absolutely no proteins (Tofu) or bean curd on buffet-I requested bean curds and I was told not for hibachi grill. All vegetables are cooked in butter on buffet.
Image below is how plate was presented to me. Cook doesn't care about his work that's obvious from his behavior. I reviewed this restaurant several years ago and nothing has changed from a vegan perspective. This review isn't to bash but help other vegans make a decision from my perspective.
Vegetables do not taste bad it's actually good but I like tofu as a protein being that's common ingredient for Asian restaurants. Egg rolls are vegetarian without meat. But still asked before eating. Two buffets tables are closed and four are open. Cost little north of $14.00 dollars., not bad for none plant base diets but lacking more options for anyone with strict diet NOT enough verity for Vegans in my humble opinion.
Ambiance is typical Asian but it's very clean, restroom are very clean, floor is clean and buffet bars are kept clean. I was comfortable sitting at table and service was prompt and friendly.
Multiple cultures working here is very nice but staff on hibachi grill don't listen or maybe don't understand my request. I took notice East Indians worked as cashiers and one male host appeared East Indian. Hopefully if my guess is correct will see Dosa's and East Indian food on those closed buffet tables that'll become nice fusion for this establishment. I upped my stars to three for cleanest and a...
Read moreI used to love this place! but have had a terrible experience the last 2 times and i will probably never be back again. First bad experience was the waitress basically hinting for us to go by handing us fortune cookies oafter 1 plate, she handed us the cookies and said goodbye.. second and most recent time was about 2 days ago. I went in, paid for my check upon arrival, tipped through my card (i hardily ever carry cash on me) I used their pen which was in BLACK INK (this is important) and wrote in the tip section since i had no cash on me. When we were ready to leave one of us went to the bathroom and the lady kept mumbling something under her breath. we walk away confused waiting for our friend to come out from the bathroom. she then went up to him and confronted him about it saying “cash” tip on the tip line of our receipt.. when i went up to her (since i paid the bill) she showed me the receipt.. the ink was PINK a completely different color than what i signed with. she kept harassing me for a tip as if i did not leave one when i clearly did! terrible....
Read moreI was rather disappointed by my visit. I went on a Sunday evening, thinking it would be busy, but was surprised to see there were only about 5 or 6 tables with people eating at them. The first disappointing thing was the lack of food variety. They only had 4 buffet bars open (out of 6 total, 2 were empty and unused), with only 2 of those having hot food in them. The other 2 had desserts and cold food like fruit and salad in them. The hot food buffets were missing many classic Chinese buffet dishes, and what was there wasn't very good. The lo-mein was almost entirely noodles with just a light spritzing of some kind of green vegetable, no meat or anything. The General Tso's chicken was all sweetness with no spice. The sweet and sour chicken was mostly batter with very little meat. The egg rolls were extremely greasy. It was definitely not worth the $16 it cost per person. I probably wouldn't have gone here if I looked at the reviews. The main positive thing was the staff was friendly and stayed on top of keeping your table clear of used plates and your...
