Food Hall Vietnamese Pho Japanese Hibachi Boba — Restaurant in South Bradenton

In all seriousness I was about to ask the server if he wanted me to clock in, are usal Vietnamese Restaurant is temporarily closed so I thought nice change of restaurant wouldn't hurt, but I was definitely wrong. The only thing the server did right was greet us at the entrance after that everything was just disappointing, When he took our order he ask us if we wanted chop stick or forks we said chops sticks. We decided to be a little different and get sushi for our appetizers when the sushi came out it was definitely a great display and it look delicious, he asked again if we wanted chop stick we said yes again and he walked away, we waited for good minute it had to been little bit longer than 5 minutes which isn't so bad but who is going to wait 5 minutes for someone to bring some chopsticks? He did server two other tables chop sticks while we waited. We were patiently waiting for him once he did come back around brought us forks I looked at him baffled and ask him nicely if he could bring us some chop sticks I swear he had to go next door to Mr Tequilas and then made quick stop at Mr. And Mrs crabs to ask for some chops sticks because that's how long it took mind you the place wasn't even that busy there was only four tables with people including us. I order the pork rice with and egg and my partner order the Pho. When asking about the Pho he did not know the meats that where included in it. After good wait The main course finally arrived but my spouse had to wait another 5 minutes for a spoon for her Pho I actually had waive the other server down to be able to ask if we could have a spoon for the Pho he rushed the two sets on the other table and I told him we only needed one he was basically making it clear for me not to ask for anything any longer. When we finish our meal we waited again little bit over 10 minutes to be able to pay why because our server sat at a stool in the bar area looking at the floor how could I wave him down if he was just staring at the floor? The Experience definitely a doesnt even deserve a one star more like a negative 3 .. how can anyone enjoy a meal in place where you feel unwanted and they sure made it really clear. Main Question: Is the food worth the price? Answer: Definitely

Wait Time: There has never been a wait since we've been going.

Food: Pros Extremely sizeable portions on the pho. Pho is fantastic. There is no comparison. We stopped going to other places after we tasted the Pho at Food Hall. If you like Pho, look no further. This is the place to get your Pho. Water has to the best water out of any restaurant in Bradenton. No need to order bottled water here. Boba teas have so many different options. Steamed rice is delicious. Steamed vegetables are fresh and delicious. Have not had a bad meal here ever.

Cons Sushi rolls are okay, but this is a pho restaurant and not a sushi restaurant. There is no vegan or vegetarian pho options. The base is always beef. Metal spoons get very hot in the pho.

We love this the food here. If you have a big enough party, they will customize the pho base for you. This was a wonderful experience and the food was awesome.

Atmosphere: We love the atmosphere. The fish in near the waterfall, the lucky cat, the TV's playing the commercials that Jack does in house and now the sound system and microphone. It is done so well.

Cleanliness: The plates, silverware and glasses were all very clean.

The bathroom can use some work at times, but is clean.

Service: The service is always fantastic here. The owners run this business and want to make sure that your experience is always the best. The owners name is Tu and he goes out of his way to ensure that your experience is the best apart from any other restaurant and he has succeeded every single time we have been there. We go quite a bit.

Price: Be prepared to open your wallet up at around $15.00 per person. Yes, it is fairly inexpensive to eat here. It will be between $15.00 to $25.00 per person to eat here. The food is well worth the price.

Recommended: Without a doubt. We love this place and hope it does very well. We do not want to see this...

As an Asian American fresh off a tour of Vietnam 🇻🇳, I've got pretty high standards for Asian cuisine. So when I tell you that Food Hall in Bradenton doesn’t disappoint, believe me, it’s the real deal.

I rolled in with my two mini food critics, armed with a hunger that only a family trip can inspire. My son went for the cucumber sushi roll, and my daughter snagged the teriyaki chicken kids' meal with fried rice. As for me, I ordered the combo Banh Mi and topped it all off with a trio of boba teas for all of us. I've been on an avocado smoothie boba quest for what feels like forever, and let me tell you, Food Hall delivered the holy grail. This boba was fresh, warm, and deliciously devoid of those dreaded hard bits. East Coast boba lovers, rejoice!

Now, onto the food:

Cucumber Sushi Roll: Fresh, well-prepared, and presented like a work of art. My son was impressed, which is no small feat.

Fried Rice: Classic and flavorful, freshly prepared, and devoured by my daughter in record time.

Teriyaki Chicken: Well-seasoned, juicy breast meat that wasn’t too sweet—perfectly cooked. My daughter gave it two enthusiastic thumbs up.

Combo Banh Mi: The pièce de résistance. Having sampled Banh Mi across Vietnam, I can honestly say this is the closest you’ll get to the real deal without a passport. The bread was that perfect balance of crunchy and soft, the meat was seasoned to perfection, and the veggies were fresh and crisp. More pate would’ve been nice, but hey, that’s just my personal preference.

The ambiance is a delightful mix of Zen and modern flair. You’re greeted by a mesmerizing “waterfall bubble” wall and a serene koi fish pond. The open kitchen lets you see the magic happen, and there’s a bar with TVs for those who like a side of sports with their sushi.

Service was top-notch, thanks to Victoria. She was courteous, patient, and handled my two little tornadoes with grace. Prices are fair considering the generous portions and quality. (Sushi was probably over priced at $6.00 for just cucumbers 🥒)

In summary, Food Hall has won a permanent spot on my list of go-to places. Fresh ingredients, great flavors, and impeccable service—what more could you ask for? I’ll be back, and I’m bringing friends.
