We went for the 1st time to this restaurant for tasting some Chinese cuisine with enthusiasm. Our experience was not good because they lead you to your seats. We are 2 people and they gave us a 2 seater table which was on the path of all waiter going to and fro with food to other tables. Sometimes I wonder when so much seating is empty and other party of 2 people are given nice seats why the over smart usher's at the door think that they can offer the worst possible seating in the restaurant just because we are women and might not be able to realize the lack of good customer care.
Anyways the waiter mis-informed about a dish "endamame with garlic" ($8.88) and when we wanted to know more about it because it was a new dish for us, he told it was beans. He didn't bother to tell us that this is boiled with its cover and we need to pluck out the seeds of individual legumes and then eat which will take an awful long time. After it arrived we just needed to pack it up and carry it throughout the casino. Also the garlic is a waste because it was on the cover we are throwing away!!
The vegetarian spring roll (3) ($13) was exceptionally small in size cut into half I don't know why? and after having it didn't feel it had any contents inside. Roof touching prices for these snacks too!!
Prior to ordering above we wanted to order Lamb Chops ($18) but because they were 3 in number (waiter told small in size!!) we requested the waiter to increase the number of chops to 4 so that we can share. But they are not flexible for changing the amount even with additional pricing. Funny thing is towards the end when the bill was presented he was insistent on our giving him a tip (at that time he spoke quite well in English) and also brought the card reader to table for me to make the payment (I think this attitude is very pushy). Now our concept of a tip is that if we are satisfied or happy with the overall service and the food of the restaurant then we are obliged to give a tip otherwise not. We didn't feel that any branch of the restaurant went the extra mile to give us a good customer experience whatsmore what they were supposed to do that also they bungled up. There was also an attitude that no matter what is your personal experience good or bad you need to give them a tip. If they have such an attitude then they should write at the entrance tip is mandatory come at your own risk!!
Right from the beginning starting from saving spacious seating for other customers to pretending not to know English and not giving us the correct information of the dishes we are ordering to being inflexible when it comes to adjusting the quantity in the food item ordered to being insensitive to the comforts of the customer (because of no extra chair we had to place our purse and other things on the tiny table where they are jostling with the food served) and the waiter is completely oblivious to the discomfort it goes without saying we will not go to this...
Read moreFirst time at Ginger, I had high expectations because not only was it at the beautiful MGM, but the reviews were mostly positive, the menu looked appealing and based on the prices they sell their dishes for I assumed it was a quality place. When I approached the hostess stand and asked for a table for 2 I was shocked to overhear the hostess saying to her coworkers that she didn't want to seat us because she didn't want to waste the waitresses time (I'm assuming she meant that in reference to the size of our party since there was nothing but groups of 5+ in the restaurant) I decided to ignore her rude comment and followed her to our table. For such a large beautiful restaurant with several available tables for 2, She chose to seat us at the only table that was right next to the kitchen door. Which was already a huge disrespectful sign. Adjacent to us was a row of setups for 2 people parties away from the kitchen and another couple had been sat there shortly after we were sat. The moment we were seated it was a domino effect of horrible experiences. A rolling cart full of dishes was parked next to me right after I sat down, after that our waiter ignored us for 10 minutes. Then a different waitress came and asked us what we wanted to drink. After saying we just wanted water she rolled her eyes. The first waitress came back to take our order. Our food came out 10 minutes after we ordered it which was surprisingly fast but what was more surprising was it was cold. Food was not even very good. During all of this nonsense there was a tray right behind my husband that was CONSTANTLY being stacked with other peoples dirty dishes. My view of past peoples leftover food, along with the never ending clanking of cups and plates in my husband's ear, was incredibly unappetizing. We could not continue our meal in such an environment and decided to leave. We asked for our check and our waitress stood hovering over my husbands shoulder watching to see how much he'd tip, and when he signed his name she immediately said "were you not happy with the service?" we brought up all of the unacceptable issues we had with the dining experience and she replied very loudly that it was not her problem. And insisted that aside from the dishes, and the table placement, and the cold food the "service SHE provided" was excellent and exclaimed she herself deserved a bigger tipped. She wagged her finger in my face as if I was a child so I just turned around and left. I later came think that the comment from the hostess about not wanting to waste anyone's time was probably in reference to our age. Since we seemed to be the youngest ones there and she felt the need to scold me about tipping. I'm 27. My husband's 26....

Where to begin... my family (about 15-20 us) and I decided to meet here for Easter since we all traveled from out of town and felt this was a good middle grounds for most. It took our waitress Cherry, quite some time 30+mins to take our orders, including drink orders. When we sat she brought out a few glasses of water, but not enough for everyone nor for the additional people whom came shortly after being sat. She never came to ask what drinks we wanted specifically. The shortest wait we had was on our food time (the time it took to receive food after ordering)
The egg rolls appetizer was probably the only thing we enjoyed, our main dishes weren't up to par by any means. Money isn't an object for us, but for the price we expected a better quality meal. Our cheapest main dish alone was $18 everything from that point on was $25+.
While my cousin was attempting to eat his meal he and two others noticed that they had bit down on something hard, long behold there was GLASS in their food! Immediately they stopped eating and when the waitress came over she took the plate quickly and left. Which i understand (Although it wasn't right) why she did that, because they didn't want to get faulted, but in the same token they made a major mistake and tried to correct it by removing the plate. I personally feel like the plate should've been left on the table, management should've came over apologized, checked on well being then offered another dish etc., but instead this was done in a different order with the attempt to cover it up as if nothing happened , but 3 people chewing on glass isn't nothing.
Once my family decided they didn't want anything else from the establishment nor a replacement meal, they asked if they would knock off a few items from our meal and we would go about our day, but they decided to involve 3 security guards, 4 or so managers & wait staff. All of these entities surrounded our table bring a plethora of unnecessary and unwanted attention our way. Therefore all persons inside the dining establishment and outside walking past immediately looked our way paying close attention trying to see what was taking place. This carried on for at least 30+mins. Embarrassing isn't the word! I could go on talking about this, but at this point I'm still upset and will be taking this up to the...
