Marietta Donuts (Johnson Ferry Rd, Marietta) — Restaurant in Roswell

We went at 10:00 on a Saturday morning. They still had plenty of selection left. There were 2 people in line and more people came after us.

In terms of COVID precautions, the employee was wearing mask. They don’t have a sign out front that says masks are required, but they have masks on the counter for customers who walk in without. They also didn’t have a sign that said social distancing is required, but customers were doing a good job of social distancing on their own.

Now for the donuts. We got a half dozen. It came out to $6 + tax. Very cheap! Here’s what we got, in order of my preference: Glazed: Soft and airy. So good. Old-Fashioned: Perfectly crunchy on the outside. Perfectly glazed. Yum. Apple Fritter: We didn’t really taste any apple, but it was still delicious. Cinnamon Roll: Soft and cinnamon-y. So good. Chocolate Cake: Normally cake donuts are my favorite, but this donut was just eh. I would probably try something else before I got this donut again. Blueberry Cake: Again, normally cake donuts are my favorite, but this didn’t have the same texture as other cake donuts I’ve had. It was also disappointing because, as far as we could tell, there weren’t real blueberries in it. We would not get this one again.

Overall, I was very impressed with this little donut shop. I would definitely go back!...

Very disappointed. I called this morning at 9:40 to place an order for my daughter’s birthday tomorrow. I was asked if I could be put on hold for “maybe 2 minutes”. 20 minutes later I was still on hold, but honestly not THAT upset being I want to give them the benefit of the doubt that they’re very busy. Finally hung up at 10:01. It is now 10:25, I’ve called 3 times and their phone has been off the hook. I’m not sure how you forget about a customer for that long and the fact that your phone of off the hook. You would think someone would notice that being the place is very small.

Edit- I just received a call back at 10:50. The lady calling was very apologetic and said she was the only one there. I put in my order to be picked up tomorrow morning. I will update my review once I get the donuts.

Wow! These are the best donuts I have probably ever had. Amazing! You will not be sorry, super fresh this Friday morning when I tried them.

Hard to find though, the entrance is to the right of gas station store entrance, this is hidden behind the pumping area. I thought that was all just gas station, who knew!! I’ve lived in the neighborhood for over a decade now and missed this place. By chance found it while waiting for another place to open and saw great reviews online so thought I’d give it a try.
