I would like to share my experience of dining at your location yesterday during the lunch period at 12 noon.
When we initially walked in, there was not a host at the station, we waited 5 minutes for someone to show up. Although we did see a waiter nearby, he seemed to ignore us.
We were seated and waited 10 minutes for our waiter to arrive, when he did, he apologized for the delay. We reviewed the bar menu and one cocktail was ordered, I indicated I wanted to review the bar menu. I felt that the waters and cocktail arrived in a reasonable amount of time, the restaurant was 20% occupied at that time. When those were dropped off, I ordered a beer from the waiter. I happened to glance down at my phone and noted the time. After 10 minutes, the waiter was passing by, and I asked about it. He said it should be there soon. From where we were seated there was only 3 people at the bar, I watched him stand at the bar for 2 minutes before he was handed the beer. He then brought it to the table, at this point I indicated that this took a long time, again he apologized. We placed our order, my guest ordered a Filet, butterflied and cooked well done. I ordered a ribeye steak. The wait time was long for the food to be delivered (20 minutes). When the food was delivered, the Filet was not butterflied and upon cutting it, it was cooked to Med Rare. At this point I asked for the Manager, I explained the two errors in the steak, I also asked they remove my steak, as I was not going to eat while my dining partner waited on her order to be corrected. The Manager asked if she could bring out an appetizer and we ordered fried pickles. The pickles were delivered about 1 minute before our steaks and my sweet potatoes were cold. My steak was cooked perfectly and tasted great. My dining partner steak was just okay.
After having these issues, I felt this was a great opportunity for a Manager to come by the table and check on us. This never occurred.
The receipt time on the check is 1:43 pm (we arrived at Noon) Table 51/1 Server James.
With tip the transaction amount was $94.00
Yesterday's visit was disappointing and I felt more should have been done to make sure we would be returning guests.

Overall for this visit would be 2/5.
My expectations are higher than this and hopefully Management appreciates a...
Read moreI recently visited this restaurant, hoping for a pleasant experience, but unfortunately, it was far from that. When we arrived, we were seated promptly, but that’s where the good service ended. We sat at our table for a solid 10 minutes without any acknowledgment from the waitstaff. During that time, we watched as three other families, who arrived after us, were attended to by the waiter. They received menus, drinks, and even some small talk, while we sat there feeling completely ignored.
To make matters worse, the host, a young Black woman with striking purple-gray hair and a nose piercing, greeted us with a dismissive and nasty attitude. It felt like we were inconveniencing her just by being there. From the moment we walked in, she seemed to be in a bad mood, and it showed. Rather than making us feel welcome, her cold demeanor and rudeness only added to the frustration of being overlooked by the waitstaff.
It’s one thing to wait a bit longer for service, but it’s another to be treated with such indifference and disrespect from the start. Our overall experience left a bad taste in our mouths, and it was clear that customer service wasn’t a priority at this establishment. While the food might be good (we wouldn’t know because we left before ordering), the service definitely needs improvement. I can’t see myself coming back to a place where we were made to feel unwelcome from the moment we stepped through the door.
*EDIT
In response to the sarcastic owners reply… you’re right I could’ve chosen anywhere to eat, but I CHOSE TO EAT HERE. Better yet tried… Would’ve been successful if your employees actually did their job, weird...
Read moreThe wife and I went to the Saltgrass restaurant in Pearland to celebrate our 19 year anniversary. Despite the massive crowd we got in fairly quickly so no complaint there. I ordered a surf and turf meal I told the waitress I want the steak well done. For the sides I ordered mashed potatoes and green beans. My wife's meal was mediocre at best having ordered some ribs and grilled chicken. However, my meal was not satisfactory at all. I ordered the steak well done and what I got appeared to still be moving and the spices and seasoning that were used on it made it taste like ash. The grilled shrimp I ordered was okay but the mashed potatoes were so garlicky and salty it was barely tolerable and I don't know what they did with the green beans as they looked like shriveled-up asparagus. I showed the waitress that this was not what I ordered pointing to the steak. I wanted well done and then I gave the steak a little squeeze with my fork and some blood ran out. I looked at her and said this is not well done. So she apologized and took it back to the kitchen for them to cook it. In the meantime my wife and I both had gotten a little upset at the unsatisfactoriness of our meals and just wanted to go home. When the waitress returned with my steak we asked for some to-go boxes and left. The only positive thing I can say about this whole experience is that our waitress was phenomenal. It was crazy in there and she was busting her tail trying to please people. So big thumbs-up for her and yes I did give her a generous tip. We ended up blowing a large wad (of money) that night and drove away feeling empty and achy as neither of us could...
