A tip is earned not expected how can you ask for a 15 to 20% tip and nobody's done anything it's totally wrong that was my turn off right off the top. A tip is earned when you provide good service it's a way of the customer saying thank you to the server for providing me exceptional service taking my order at a hot dog donut shop counter where the interaction is less than 5 Seconds does not constitute a 20% tip let alone a tip at all. Now here's the kicker it was 8:30 at night just myself at the counter and another couple nobody else was there it took the girl 15 almost 20 minutes to complete my order nobody else I kind of figured it's because I didn't leave her a tip. It was quite obvious I think it's only fair that I left an honest revuew and maybe you all need to readjust your customer focus, and core values on how customers are served if you believe that this is just a bunch of bull then continue the way you do and see how long that lasts and how long your business stays open and but certainly don't shove a 20% tip down somebody's throat right off the top only to wait 15-20 minutes or to get attitude from a cashier and as for the food I wasn't impressed the parmesan garlic fries were undercooked very undercooked and very soggy and the bulgogi dog not impressed at all just the whole situation just turned me off and if a single donut gourmet or not is almost $6 yeah not something I care to too f8r especially for shotty service tips go hand-in-hand neither was there and nor should you be asking for a 20% tip at a donut hot dog shoppe. Looks like you only respond to the good reviews and not the bad ones so I guess there goes your customer service I can see where it lies only respond to the good reviews not the bad I think you should respond to all of them very sad. New York cheesecake donut was excellent I will tell you that it was a very good donut so $6 was...
Read moreOne dreary day I found my self being especially hungry after a long day of gaming, I decided to come to the one and only sleepy head donuts, I was skeptical since I've never eaten a dog from Korea, but I said "screw it" and decided to tryout the 3 cheese K-dog. When I walked up to the counter I was greeted by a young man who was very enthusiastic about his job. I ordered one of the "Tres queso" and a lemonade and decided to wait. Upon waiting I realized how much of a toll my gaming marathon has taken on me. I was tired, hungry, and especially about to drop the Mr nice guy act on this worker. But I kept my cool because I know how cool I am and decided to be patient. After waiting a very long 3 minutes my order was ready, I thanked the worker for my food (even though I was extremely upset about the long wait) and sat my self down at a table and began by taking a sip of the lemonade. Upon the sip I was greatly disappointed by the quality of the lemonade, it was far too sweet and I was far too over charged for it. Besides the point, I bit into the "tres queso" and was quite amazing, the way you could tell how much effort the worker who made the hot dog put into it, it was like I had the mona Lisa of all K-dogs, absolutely impeccable. The only downside I could think of was how one K-dog didn't fill me up, I weight a light 400lbs and wasn't much filled up from the k-dog. My gaming marathon had to come to an end for an empty stomach. I'm sad about this. Overall, service was great, but portions were to small for plus sized people...
Read moreInteresting name... Interesting layout. Brilliant #SugarDump LOL Sleepyhead Donut is joined Join with a Korean Hot Dog Shop. The layout is very unique. I haven't seen something like this before. Literally separated by a corner; One side is the Hot Dog Venue and the other side is the Donut Venue...very Interesting. Parking is not an issue, plenty of spaces available outside in the shopping plaza. There isn't a lot of space to sit and eat your donuts, just a handful of bar seats.
I decided to come here after seeing a few viral IG posts. No regrets! The Donuts are big and fulfilling, albeit a bit pricey. Very unique. I haven't tried anything like this before.
#Sugar: ~ MILK CREAM DONUT: Matcha Milk - 4.5/5 Stuffed with Milk Cream. Well balanced Matcha flavor without being too sweet. Deliciousness... with enough cream to put on another small Donut. Bravo!
~ MILK CREAM SPECIAL: Coconut Milk - 4/5 Not too sweet with a delicate coconut flavor. Surrounded with dried coconut flakes.
~ Boston Cream - 4/5 Exactly as a I envisioned a Boston Cream Donut would taste like, without being too heavy or too sweet.
~ Garlic Cream Cheese - 4.5/5 What a brilliant Savory treat among all the sugar. Almost perfection! The chives were a great touch adding that extra little flavor. A brilliant exquisite Garlic Flavor without overpowering the Cream Cheese. Also can't forget the generous amounts of Cream Cheese that form the cross section.
I can see what all the fuss is about... Give Sleepyhead Donut a shot for something unique...
