If I could put give this place zero star I would the customer service was rude my chilaquiles plate came cold and when I adressed it to her she said no the cheese is cold and she told me that which I've never heard such a thing in my life also my nephew's food a carne asada cheese quesadilla which came without the meat so the brought a little cup of meat on the side to try to correct it and the mozzarella did melt on there but according to her mozzarella doesn't melt. My hot chocolate was never given to me until I asked for it for the third time my first cup she gave it to another table and then tried to bring it to me when the other customer already had took a sip from it her attitude of her coming back to the table and trying to explain to me about chilaquiles when I'm Mexican myself and I know how chilaquiles our made I let her know her chilaquiles Chile sauce is cold. She keep insisting then how do you want me to make them cold that's why your cheese is not melting very rude well never eat there and she shouldn't be dealing other people's food to other people you're already placed at the early took food from it it is...

Upon entering it is a perfect sized restaurant to serve up the dishes it is known for. My family was waiting for me so already had a table. The server was friendly and brought me over water.

We opted for the Mojado Burrito, Enchilada plate, & Chile Relleno plate both served with ( arroz & Frijoles) everything was well prepared with nice portions. It's not often you find a place that knows how to do it right. So much food, so little time.

Interior is several table and chair arrangements. Traditional wall art so you feel almost like your in your Abuelitas Casa. Or at least I did. Music playing in the background. Everything was very clean. Menu is even posted outside the restaurant on the window.

I recently dined at Restaurant El Rey, and unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations. The pozole, a staple of Mexican cuisine, was a letdown. The flavor lacked authenticity and tasted watered down, failing to capture the essence of traditional Mexican cuisine.

Adding to the disappointment was the subpar service. Despite being the only option for dining in person, the service was lackluster, leaving much to be desired in terms of attentiveness and hospitality.
