I specifically chose to visit this McDonald's location for its indoor playground. I drove from Cibolo/Schertz because this was the closest location to have one available. I was dreading to get there and find it congested with kids, but to my surprise it was quite the opposite. The parking is a little tight but we were lucky to get front parking. Had it been peak time I'm sure parking would be bad due to drive thru lines blocking the way in and out since it only goes one way. There wasn't a long line to order despite there only being one cashier. I had taken my kids to the playground area prior to placing my order. So when I told the cashier that I had noticed the play area needed some serious attention, she politely stated that she would get to it once she could get away from the register. I was surprised that they didn't have additional employees to maintain the lobby and play area. I didn't even want to see the restroom. I was getting my drinks and there were no straws, but when I asked for some an employee was nice enough to bring me some to my table. Our meals brought to the table as well which is a big help having a baby. We were able to comfortably enjoy our food in the lobby. It has a great updated layout, with a couple TV screens. There was no volume, but I'm sure if anyone really wanted to they could watch the sports or news that was being displayed. The playscape was little tykes commercial brand, and the kids really enjoyed themselves. It's a pretty good size with three different entrances, and they could run, crawl, climb through most of it with no problem. The seatting was not enough for more than 2 families and maybe 4 other seperate couples. The play area does have it's own single restroom so that's convenient. I didn't use the facility so I couldn't tell you how clean they were. We spent a good two hours there and probably could have stayed there longer, but I didn't want to drive in 5 o'clock traffic. We plan on coming back for another visit when in need of an...
Read moreWhat happened to the customer service? I was in line for about 10 minutes then once I was about to order the lady disappeared after a few minutes she came on the speaker and took my order. First, she cuts me off with every sentence I try to say, then she rushes my order...that's it.. that's it...that's it....NO!!!! I'm trying and you keep cutting me off!!!! Then 10 more minutes in line, just 2 cars in front of me. Once at the window, they give me the food, and when I ask for a sauce this dude shuts the window in my face and keeps on laughing with his other bunch of kids coworkers. Oh boy, I was about to lose it!! Thank God my wife kept me focused...We got home and the order was all wrong!!! The 10-piece Nuggets were 8. No sauce even when I asked 2 times. My wife ordered with Jalapeño and no onions and guess what!!! Onion and no JALAPEĂOS. I asked Ketcup only ( no onions, no pickles no mustard), and ... you guessed it again! Mustard and pickles on my burger! Sodas for some reason we're all cokes... 3 meals 3 sodas 2 missing nuggets and 1 missing fries!!! What a great job McDonalds!! Now I know someone will comment...it's just fast food!! Shut up, Karen! They lost that privilege of forgetting something, or messing up my order when they decided to up the price like a regular restaurant!!!
Also MCDONALD please save your reply that you are sorry and you want us to come back for a free meal!! DO NOT EMBARRASS yourself I do not want free food, I would like you to train your stuff better and give the customer what they...
Read moreHit and miss location. We have eaten at this location 4 times since they have opened and 2 out of the 4 times they have messed up something in our order, a 50% success rate is pretty atrocious but itâs fast food so you get what you pay for. The most recent experience we had consisted of them failing to put bacon on a breakfast sandwich in which the main item was bacon, then when we called to notify them of the failure we were put on hold so the manager (Angie) could go speak to the line cook and confirm he put bacon on our sandwich. The level of terrible customer service wasnât over, that was just the beginning. Angie offered to remake the sandwich, âoh greatâ let me get back into my car and drive 20 min round trip so you can put bacon on my sandwich, this is again after she let us know that even though the line cook said we were lying and he had placed bacon in the sandwich she would allow us to come back and have the sandwich corrected. âOh, thank you maâamâ for allowing us to give up more time and money in order for you to fix your mistake. What a joke! Needless to say we have opened a complaint on this manager and location, I donât mind mistakes but own them, donât tell customers they are lying and then offer a solution in which the customer has to put in most of the effort, customer service 101 never call your...
