I normally do not leave reviews unless someone has gone above and beyond and deserved a 5 star. Unfortunately, this is not the case for our experience. My wife, daughter, any myself went and ordered 3 Pepsis, 1 double Red Stag (should have be $4 per shot was charged $4.75 no biggie), an app of spinach dip (was delicious), a Cesar salad (wife said it was great), meat lovers pizza (canceled it), and a kids Mac and cheese (canceled it).
Here is where things go south; we were never offered any refills on our drinks (even after our app came out). We never received our main course even though everyone around us did (people came in after us, ordered, ate, and left). Our waitress was not friendly (I understand people have off nights). After waiting over 1 1/2 hours we got the attention of another waiter to get our waitress. I told we would like to cancel our main orders and we would pay for what we received. She got the manager (who seemed to be somewhat apologetic). We received the bill shortly after with the main orders removed. We paid with a $50 gift card a co worker gave my wife (she was so excited for us to try this place). The food was a little over $30 for what we ate.
I wanted to see if the manager actually cared or not; so we gathered our things and my wife and daughter proceeded to our vehicle while I walked to the bar (were the manager was sitting) to express how we felt. I gave her the gift card and told her to split the balance left on it between the wait staff and cooks because we woulf not be back. She did not try to earn our business back and let me walk out. That is failed management!
After looking at the reviews (most were great), I'm sure we just were the unfortunate customers and alot of people enjoyed their meal. Every business will have failures and unhappy customers. It's up to the owners and management to correct mistakes and try to get people to come back or buy their service or...
Read moreI do not often write a negative review; however, I felt it was very appropriate after the first encounter with this establishment. Referred by a friend and can say that I will not be going back nor would I refer anyone. The cost was common. The food was less than mediocre. The menu was limited and slim on selections. The staff and service was awful. Time of visit 1pm. The restaurant was not at all busy, yet the atmosphere of the entire restaurant was negative. It’s a “seat yourself wherever you like” which is not at all an issue because you are acknowledged when you walk in. After sitting for 5-6 minutes a lady brings menus to the table, drink order was taken, drinks brought out roughly 6-8 minutes later at which time the food order was taken. Food brought to the table and never see the server again until she brings 2 checks to the table. Never were we asked if it was separate checks, and never were we asked if we needed anything or how everything was. Declined to go box and gave server CC to run as one ticket. Per the receipt, server Jasmin P. Being someone who has formerly worked in the restaurant / bar industry, I do take care of staff who take care of their customers. Typically with good service, even if the food was less than mediocre, the server would have received a $10 minimum tip for a $24 ticket. We live in the same world as everyone else therefore we understand ups and downs. Sadly, I didn’t feel the service was even half as decent as going through a fast food drive thru. I did leave a small tip because I felt obligated but trust me I thought strongly on the matter. If I don’t tip the person at the Zaxby’s drive thru why would I tip the poor service received from...
Read moreI will preface this with saying that we went during the Conway river fest so we expected to wait a little bit for food. My husband and I and our toddler sat down around 6pm around happy hour . Music was unbearably loud. We ordered beers and food for our toddler. It took about 10 minutes for our beers and our toddlers food came out about 10 minutes after that. At that time, my husband and I each ordered a pizza. My toddler ate her food and after about 30 minutes, our waitress told us there was a back up in the kitchen because they only have one oven (I find it strange that a pizza and sandwich joint only has one oven) but we said okay and ordered a second beer. Another 30 minutes passed, the people who came in behind us got their food and ate and my toddler wasn’t having it because she’d been sitting for over an hour now. My husband took her outside and I asked the waitress to have the kitchen take out pizzas to go because it was so long of a wait, about 10 minutes later she brought the pizzas in boxes and then the check. She told us that there was a malfunction with the ticket machine in the kitchen and our tickets were apparently never printed… over an hour prior… on the bill we were still charged in full and not given the happy hour price for beer. Our first experience there as locals and I won’t be back soon. The food was okay but obviously cold by the time we drove the 20 minutes home and ate it at...
