After spending ~$1800 last year on Dunkin, I would say I have a reasonable idea as to what a "Dunkin experience" should be. This location needs an overhaul in customer service training..
Of my order, I ordered a muffin warmed with butter. The trainee (who did nothing wrong) must have not rang up the warmed with butter part, but who knew this was code red in this location. The man heating up the food started talking down to the trainer, continuously saying "this is why we dont add items at the window" and said to me that I needed to come in and pay extra for that. No big deal - gave him $1 and he gave me $0.61 back. All that for $0.39?
3 different times while waiting inside I was told I was "all set". 3 different times I had to voice what else I ordered ($18.82 order). 3 different times this man, heating up the food, told me about "this is why we dont add items at the window". Should I be discouraged from order more from this Dunkin? I guess so, no big deal.
After checking the 4 bags with the food, I made sure everything was in there before leaving. Went to the car and realized there was no fork for the muffins. No big deal, went back in and asked the front cashier for a fork. She mad a weird face, walked to 'the guy' and he started yelling "no forks here, just knives and spoons". Luckily, we had thought to bring plastic silverware on our trip up here from Rhode Island, that we had it in our hotel room. But who has spoons/knives...
Just went for 6 donuts and a water, had a hard time trying to communicate with the lady what we wanted for donuts (for example "all 6 frosted with sprinkles" and said said "none frosted with sprinkles" 🙃). After paying and receiving donuts I reminded her of the water and she gave me a snarky look and went and got one, and when I said thank you have a nice day she walked away and said nothing in return. Donuts were good but customer service was poor. UPDATE: Went again same time of day on a wednesday again 4 weeks later- same crabby service. I tried to make the donuts easier this time, 6 with 1 glazed and the rest assorted but no plain please. Went to the window and paid, got donuts and looked inside. There was a plain! I said I'm sorry we asked for no plain donuts. She said WHAT I repeated myself and she stormed off- came back with a glazed and basically shoved it at me as I was trying to hand back the half dozen so she could take the plain and she said you can just throw it away we can't take it back with so much negative attitude. I said oh ok sorry thank you and she walked away. Once again super...
Read moreI’m leaving a 1 star review because I can’t leave 0 stars. The service here was less than bad, it was absolutely terrible. When my boyfriend and I were placing our order, the lady taking it was rude and kept cutting me off and giving me sassy responses. We get to the window and we received an apple cider donut rather than the spider donut we ordered. I went inside to politely get the correct donut only to find out the lobby is closed due to “staffing issues” (when there were 4 employees inside). So we went back through the drive through and get to the window and explain what happened, nicely, because the workers obviously had a rough day and mistakes happen. We are told the spider donut is an up charge of $0.50 and annoyingly gave them the $0.50 at the window, for them to say “can we have the other donut back” and scoffed at us when we handed it to her. So hopefully they threw it away and don’t try to resell that donut they mistakenly gave to us. Absolutely ridiculous, completely unsanitary, very rude, and a joke...
