Moe's Southwest Grill — Restaurant in Conway

I know this review wont be fair, but bear with me.

First we need to address Moe's as a brand - If I could give this place negative 5 stars, I would. When did this place become super expensive? Listen, I don't mind paying more for quality, but they are charging a premium for Taco Bueno quality and expect a tip to do it. This used to be a place to go 5 years ago. I would frequent this place at least twice a week with super high ratings. Not any more. You will pay more for your food here then going to Chipolte, which undoubtedly has higher quality food, and you will pay less.

Now a review for this exact location. Not much could be said about this exact location. My review is somewhat neutral. Staff preparing the food is friendly. Place is clean. Not super COVID cautious - self serve items need to be removed. It's not sanitary - exposed utensils, salsa bar, touch screen fountain machine, and etc. Speaking of fountain machine - every drink taste the same - a mix of whatever else went through it before it.

The person operating cash register needs to learn to not stick their dirty fingers into soda cups when removing them from a stack. Not to turn this into a mask debate, but if you are wearing a mask, make sure it fits, and keep the damn thing above your nose - that's the whole point. Dont touch your face, nose, and adjust the mask, and then touch the soda cups.. Remember, you keep sticking those fingers inside the cups. This is gross, regardless of what's going today.

This place has taken a serious dive, the owner or General manager needs to go ghost review this establishment. While I was ordering my food a bunch of kids came in with an adult male, all the kids carrying water bottles all ran over to the drink machine and filled up their bottles with coke and other drinks, keep in mind the paying customers were waiting in line behind this group of kids, the gentleman walks straight into the kitchen without any protective gear and hugs and kisses the cook and they proceed to kiss in the middle of the restaurant while their kids go through the drink machine. Upon getting their drinks the kids sit at an open table and just hangout, while the mom who was on duty as well as 3 other employees go out in front of the restaurant and sit at the only table outside for customers, where they chat and smoke cigarettes throughout our entire meal. I have no clue what sort of manager would allow such unprofessional behavior, but I for one...

I frequently visit Moe’s after my work shifts because their food is more filling than what I could get at McDonalds or something for the same price.

One thing I appreciate about the staff there is that they’re willing to help the customers save a bit of money with their orders. Two of their menu items are nearly identical except one comes with guacamole. I ALWAYS overhear the staff double-checking with customers to confirm that they do want the guacamole when they order that one specific item. If they don’t, the employees will only charge them for the lesser-priced item. Of course that’s basic good business practice but many other fast food places will charge you how you order without bothering to make sure you’re not overpaying.
